I myself just make my own soil at least then I know what's in it.
I should have asked, do you amend store bought soil like I do or do you use your own compost or vermiculture etc.

Looks alright. That indigo green hurts my eye's bro(It's me)So I can't look at them long.
Yeah, it is a bit bright. I will try using a different color.

Hey Cas Cheeb already started another thread asking how much his harvest is going to be, guess he's not all that worried about the yellowing going on with the plant he posted about in the first thread. If I could I would reach out through net land and cuff him right upside his damn head. BTW your inbox is full....J

Sorry to post this in your journal, but didn't want to be a dick to him....
No problem J, I just saw it. I had forgotten that I replied to him. Just have to laugh at it, he posted no details then seemed irked when details were requested. I would try to set him straight but I have been there before... ends up being a huge waste of time. Maybe I should go post that he should expect about 10 lbs... of leaf hoppers and yellow leaves lol

That is awsome J! Nice find... It is some amazing smoke. Can't wait to see you grow it out.

You prompted me to do another search, and I found someone selling Cindy99 clones. I am going to send an email and try to determine if they are legit genetics.

The other challenge is sometimes people will not sell small quantities of clones, well see I guess...

Yeah, but I am cheap ass... would rather pay $15-20 for a clone than pay $100.

Plus, I will likely "have" to choose a few others just to make it worth the sellers time.

Here is the list

Blue Cheese
Blue Dream
Head Band
Purple Urkle
White Widow
SS White Widow dc
Grape Ape
UK God Bud
Vortex
Cindy 99
Pineapple Kush

So, I did end up going to get the C99 clone. Usually when you go to buy clones somewhere other than a dispensary the seller asks which ones you want and meets you somewhere neutral... Not this time! Holy Shit, you would not believe the operation I walked into. That strain list is not even close to complete. I don't have the time now but I will try to post more about it later. It involved 3 separate buildings and 4 people working... I asked about just about every strain there is, I think the only one I mentioned he didn't have was pre-98' Bubba Kush and Jilly Bean (which I gave him a cut of, longer story...).

I asked a lot about the C99, he claims it is such a legit cut that a local dispensary that bought some of the bud from it and was also currently selling their own bud and clone of C99, switched it out for his cut. He didn't seem like the kind of guy that would need to make a story up like that to get my $50. I was probably there for and hour and a half, at one point one of his buddies stopped by and I mentioned the C99 cut, he just started going off about how good it was. Can't wait to grow it!

I don't really have the room for them but I couldn't walk out of there without picking up some more clones.

This is what I picked up:

C99
Pineapple Kush
NYC Sour Diesel
Blue Dream

I have a good feeling about your journal Cas. I'm sure it won't disappoint! Just as good as your last if not better

Thanks man, I hope it goes well too. I will try to keep it updated on a regular basis like last time.

I'm thinking I might try to get some clones of the new clones going soon so I can flower some small plants to see how they do. They would go in the tent after the rest are flipped. Will definitely be another crowded grow and will likely have some bug issues with all the new clones introduced.

Should be fun, curious how the Jilly Bean is going to do and whether the feminized pollen is ready in time to make some seeds.

Thought I would do a small update even though there isn't much to report yet.

The HH seed that I thought failed to germ was just taking its time and popped the soil recently so 100% germination on on all the purchased seeds and seeds from last harvest. One of the K#7's popped too along with the 2 K#5's and a K#1.

I have been spraying the Amnesia Auto and Holland's Hope with colloidal silver twice a day and leaving them in the dark for about 10 hours a day for the last 5 days to get them started ahead of the rest. I read that it should be a 2 week head start so it should be about right...

Thanks man, just ran out of room under the dome so thought I would try it out. I think it actually works faster and better than the dome... just make sure to spray the inside of the bottle at least once a day. They are in rapid rooters set into soil with a good dose of perlite.

Yesterday and today I have transplanted almost all the plants that will be flowered. I have 3 "mystery" plants that lost their label. They are all either male sweet n' sour widows or female clones. One I know is a purple diesel if it turns out female. Will be putting them is some small pots on the side for the hell of it. Also transplanted the feminized males into slightly larger pots, didn't want to waste too much supersoil on them as they will get the axe in less than a month if all goes perfectly. 3 of the seedlings were too small to pull the rootball safely, so I just cut the top of the solo cups off down to the soil line and punched a bunch of holes, then dropped the solo into the new pot. One tip for very low stress transplanting is to use the pot they are coming from to form the hole in the new pots soil, then just drop them in and it fits like a glove.

Here is a pic of the new plants in the tent:

Yeah man, getting very close to flipping the lights! I transplanted the large ladies from 2 gallons to 3.5 gallon pots, the Sleestack went from 1 gallon to a 2ish gallon pot. Started clones of the 4 new plants and will either flower the original clones or the cuttings depending on what space I think I have and how healthy the new clones are looking (don't want to lose the genetics).

Today the tent is going dark for 3 hours, tomorrow it will be for 10 hours, the next it will be 11 hours and will probably stay on that schedule for the duration due to having autos in the mix...

Some pics...

Jilly Bean X (plushberry x headband) looking like a pure indica but statistically should be 35% sativa...

I took a loupe to the "mystery" plants and didn't find any pistils except on this one which I now know is a Purple Diesel. It had very obvious pistils, it had been surviving for the last 2+ months in a solo cup filled about 1/3 of the way up. She is a survivor, should green up nicely very soon... The rest go the axe.

The jillybean looks great. I'll be looking forward to pics of the Pineapple Kush. Wish I could get good clones here in Canada, I don't even know where to start looking for clones were I am.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Popcorn, I am happy with how the defoliation has gone so far and really curious to see how she does once budding is fully underway. I'd give you a clone if you were in my area... Still waiting for the Pineapple Kush and others to root well, then I need to think about how crowded I really want this grow. I guess it doesn't really matter if it is overcrowded, mainly just going for the seeds. I have a family member who has expressed interest in trying CBD but has no interest in THC so I will be putting one or both of the SourTsu3 and Remedy in the tent soon.

Day 4 of flower, I am just going to post some info so I have it for future reference here. I treated plants in veg with Floramite and some Tetrasan 2 days ago after I found some mite eggs and dead mites on the C99. Did a neem and mosquito dunk drench yesterday along with spraying some clones with habanero (all plants in veg and flower). Found a few mites on 2 of the clones under the dome yesterday. Overnight I put a couple no pest strips in the veg room and shut off all the ventilation.

The plants in the tent are making good progress other than those that were basically started 12/12 from seed, they seem to have slowed way down.

I couple shots from yesterday of plants in the tent:
