caregivers license?

I took a position as the head grower for a local dspencery and since then have had several people ask me if I would be interisted in being their personal caregiver. I would love to grow their plants in my personal garden but want everything legal. Can anyone tell me how much the caregivers license is and how to get the ball rolling on that?

A caregiver is just named by the person and in your own paperwork. when i signed up for my caregivership of a friend (which with the new laws i have since given up) there was no extra cost other then the 90 bucks you had to send in for your own paperwork.

Those law changes is what im worried about. they established an actuall caregivers license. my patients provided to large of an income for me to not keep it going. I have been quoated anything from $1250 to $2000. I guess Im just gonna have to call the CDPHE.

Please let us know what you find out GJG. My understanding is that you also have to register your grow location. You may not be able to have your grow in a residential area. That's the part I am not clear on, whether caregiver grows are held to the same zoning rules as dispensary grows.

Caregiver grows are not zoned like dispensaries but
different municipalities are allowed to set forth rules
regulating them. For instance in Denver city limits,
one cannot have more than 12 plants in their private
garden.

Also, you have to register your grow location and they
subject to "security inspections" by LEO.
You cannot care for more than 5 patients unless you
apply for a special permit to care for more ($$$)
and you cannot sell your meds to your patients for more
than cost to grow them (cannot make a profit)
nor can you sell your meds to other patients who are
not yours.

This. You will have to do more than provide medicine for them. IMHO it is not worth it. I wouldn't register anything with the State AT ALL.

Correct. Why would you jump through all the silly hoops nowadays?

the other part of the equation: if you register the grow, it is also subject to inspection for standard building code violations. eg: got a new 200amp panel and you didn't have it permitted or inspected by the city ......
