Every situation is different, some counties allocate very little to code enforcement, some much more. At least a code inspection you can turn them away & delay things a little, they usually don't have a warrant. But if they can easily see an oversize pot patch?
Well thats good news,if I need to I can move the potted plants

So I went on a field trip today, searching for a big parcel of land to buy in time for this season outdoor grow.
We had our eye on 40 acres listed at 179k...there were 8 offers ahead of us(all weed growers)
So today I do a drive by looking at 5 acres listed at 85k,the logs were laying down ready to be picked up and sent to the mill(mountain ranch, calaveras)the land looked useable and all,but turns out the HOA wants nothing to do with weed farmers.
So the search continues

With all the changes taking place as in all out ban's of outdoor grows happening in nor cal I think for the long run it is best to plant a field of wine grapes, build and old style barn and put in some big water pipes.
And have a tractor to plow some produce fields and a tractor barn, long drive way with automatic gate opener at the entrance.
Now we need to start with 36 solar panels and a small shed to house the battery banks that power the off grid voltage.
Next we buy 2 old refer trailers(1980's vintage)and park them inside that great looking old red barn.
Inside the trailers we install 6000 watts and a 3 ton mini split heat pump and dehuey etc.
So I figure every 70 days it is possible to harvest about 10 lbs of bud,so about 40 lbs annual.
A stealth grow for years to come

A nice big red Barn with a solar roof would be out of sight and out of mind also.As you stated with all the laws changing and weed growers bidding on all the property if it became illegal property values might drop.My brother had 43 acres half way between sacto and stockton and the county came out every year to make sure his septic system wasn't dumping unfiltered sewage in sutter creek not sure how that pertains to you but something to think about.Good luck

My cuts have been in the ez cloner for 4 weeks now,yet only 4 out of 30 are showing roots?
But the good news is I loaded a dome and rock wool with 50 beans(giant sun flower seeds)and they popped in 7 days!

Calveras Update,

Went to B&S yesterday with John(my good friend grower buddie)we were checking out the building fee permit cost for his farm to be up to code(a requirement to get a grow lic.
He is scratching his ass to figure out where to get some ready cash to beat the June 30th dead line to register his grow OP.
He ended up getting a small loan on the honda car.
John has 8 acres and is allowed to fence in 150x200 feet(no plant count)
As long as the 75 foot neighbor set back is provided, also 100 feet away from a seasonal creek.

He has a converted garage,to be permitted as well.

I am busy drawing in the plot plan and structures.

all in about $1000.00 permit fee..........good news is we have 180 days to call for inspection(bye than he will have 30 lbs of dry bud's

Funny sign down at the san andreas building department..it was stuck on the window of the entrance door pointing out go this way for Marijuana Questions!
The lobby was packed,as growers were inline to register before June 30th 2016.

My buddy and I put up the 6 foot fence(150x200)in the blazing heat last weekend...we took it easy and did some blazing of our own to stay cool.
That yard will sure hold alot of weed..jesus!
But you can see it plain as day from the road.
Last season, this dude drove up to the house, got out of his car, went to a prize bush and just grabbed mid section and ripped a large branch of the plant, drove off with it...
Season before that we lost 99 in september

what ya gonna do shootem!!the fkin rippers have more rights than the grower unless u don't mine prison:bigjoint:
Like last September I think it was(Calaveras triple homicide)this brother of a grower shot 3 rippers just before the sun came up.
I was talking to a Local grower and asked him about the aftermath.Turns out LEO let the 99 plant grower out of jail so he could water his crop?
On a side note,I was dumping some trash at the rock creek recycle center, and I was talking with the 2 crew working there about this same event. They told me that they watched the trash truck bring in the weed plants from the dead rippers, they said the smell of weed was in the air.How big were the plants I asked?they estimated 8 lbs each? Now that is a whopper for sure
