I have sent my forms and check to the state and am wondering how long it takes? how long did you have to wait to recive it? Also I will be in need of some clones, how should I go about this? I see a thread on here about trading but I have nothing to trade. Is cash legal? I have my grow equipment already and am set up to go as soon as I get a clone... thanks

It was about two weeks for me. If you would like, PM me and we can get our heads together. Do you have your Dr. authorization? if so I think you might be ok untill the state comes through. but don't quote me 'cause I don't make the laws.

And, come Sept 28 or thereabouts all a patient needs is the doc cert, should they elect not to register.

9/28 is a long time coming for a lot of the legal/qusi-legal closet patients and caregivers.

Maybe so, cerberus. Easy for me to say as I already have my card, but I honestly wouldn't be very concerned if I were in that situation. LEO isn't going to harass patients like that, imo.

yeah, I dig what you’re saying. I personally know a few patients ‘in the waiting’ that are prominent people in their communities and they did not feel safe or comfortable to pursue MMJ until the addition of a more privacy friendly code, code that is in LD1296. This has allowed these people to pursue a proper management program for their ailments without fear from public repercussions, when it comes into effect. Also this helps their (soon to be) caregiver(s) who did not have these patients due to their reservations of public vilification. It also frees doctors from these fears as well.
Although there are many patients who, fortunately, have benefited from the law as it stands and consequently the addition of ld1296 means very little, there are many more that where still out in the cold until this becomes the law of the land. I stand by my opinion that this is long time coming.
Even more overdue if you consider how HIPA regulations where being trampled by the enforcement of divulging patient info to state regulators, LEO’s, and public records through DHHS registration..
