Carbon Filter - Tuna Mayonnaise....

Yep the title says it all.....

So my extraction fan is connected to my grow light through a Cool Tube.

It has been running for about 5 weeks now and this weird smell is coming from it.

You have to put your nose right up to theextraction ducting to really identify it but you know what it smells like?

Tuna mayonnaise, that specifically has been heated in the Microwave...lets say 20 seconds.

Now that is specific , I know however that is what it smells of.

Anyone know why? Is it normal?

at least it`ll cover up the smell of the weed

as long as air is still flowing through it and its not got wet it should be fine

some people get them hot to clean them out, some people change the carbon, but as long as the airs flowing through it it should work

you using any bone and blood or fish gut based feeds ?

Yeah its definitely not wet, I have been on top of humidity and the filter itself has not been near water. The filter still has sbout 10 month to go until I need a change

I have canna terra plus soil and been using the synthetic range of nutes too. No fish guts

It's weird cause it wasn't smelling like this about a week ago :/
