carbon filter question

hey guys, I just got my fan and carbon filter.can i have the carbon filter on the outside of the grow tent?

You can, but if you are trying to eliminate odors created from the grow space, you would want the carbon filter on the inside.

y wont it elimnate odors if on the outside?

BTW the smell is inside your grow space, therefore you need to suck the smell straight from the source, through the can and out that bitch, see?

you want to set it up inside of your tent and have air sucking through the carbon filter and out your tent.
