hello , My room is closed with co2/ AC/ dehumidifier and controlled with climate controler. I have a carbon filter for odor issues with a 440cfm fan? my question is how often should I run the fan to filter the air in room to stop smell from leaking??? room is 13x13x9 and will have 36 plants at most .

thanks for responses

1521/440=3.457 so it would take like 3.5 minutes to push all the air in your room through a filter, but it will take longer to get the air from the corners circulated so I would do 15 minutes on twice a day and if that didn't take care of the 'leaking' smell then do it more often.

thanks, I figured I didnt need to run it too often. currently it comes on for 5 minutes 6 times a day . If that doesnt work Ill try cycle timer maybe 2 mins every 40 or something?

The air in corners of the room and in between objects might not get moved if the fan is only on for a short time, a lot of the air is going from the exhaust right back into the fan unless you have a duct to move the air away from the intake. I would go for longer than 2 minutes on if you need more on time.

don't you need to be running your carbon filter continuously, on high speed, to evac the room of scents, plus doubles as an exhaust fan too, right?

My room is sealed so there is no intake or exhaust. carbon filter is used to reduce leaked odor or odor released from opening door.

I have a sealed room and a monster Can Carbon filter recirc in the bloom room.

If your bloom room and veg room are linked via ducting, you can use the scrubber + fan to vent/scrub the bloom room air and push it to the veg room to create a minor negative pressure on the bloom side and a positive pressure on the veg. Helps control air quality that way the dank never gets out and the most you ever smell is a minor smell of vegetating plants.
