Canterbury Tales Type Why I Grow Tale...Poem

When I think of the reasons why
I grow those plants of mine
Many answers come to mind.

When I have a need to buy
I have to meet a creepy guy
Which is awkward, yet I smile and say hi.
When I arrive with what I buy
I sit on the couch and give it a try
Unfortunately I'm not flying so high.
With a seed I could grow
Any type man can know
And in soil or hydro.
I would never again have to go
To that creepy guy I know
To pay more for less than I can grow.

So, if you know what Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales is (and if you don't, you should probably be in school right now) then, please add to the tale. Maybe it will be good! Also, if you're going to add use the first three lines for the start of your tale. That will add uniformity to the entire thing.

When I think of the reasons why
I grow those plants of mine
Many reasons come to mind

I learn about life from my little plants
The role of our sun played by my lamps
With time and energy a seed planted will sprout
When the seed pops, new form comes about
New form like any birth of any child
Infinitely inconceivable and just as wild
The joys of seeing new leaves grow
The wonder of learning as you go
Arising in the morning to feed and to water
Please, I'm pleading, please be a daughter
The plant shoots to the sky, fearing its time has come
She then reveals herself to me and to her sun
Beautiful white pistols and then buds appear
Harvest is coming, but my daughter's time is near
She will parish for the life she brings to me
And I will honor her every 420
As I sit and reflect on what I now know
Hers is the very same path I will go
