Heres the problem. Im going in for back surgery and will be in a chair for a few, but still need to water the girls.
I have a 400 GPH pump. This is it.

Will it be big enough to use a water wand with coil hose. The beds im watering is 5x5.
ok before u go under

here order these 1 day ....1 for each plant
http://www.amazon.com/Bloom-Brothers-GGWR06-6-Inch-support/dp/B008UF9VXE
put this in the soil and from the back run tubes .......this way u can stand just put a funnel in the end of the tube feed the feed tho watering/feeding the plant (just when done send clean water down to flush ring out) move to the next tube

i am not sure about the tube size i have a bunch around the house just matched it used it ........i think it is 1/2in id 5/8in od (i checked mine )
http://www.amazon.com/Watts-SVKI20-Pre-Cut-Diameter-20-Foot/dp/B0046ECL80/
get 2 of them incase u mess up ...........a trick to make them strait boil some water in a kettle then pour some down the tube (just move one side higher then other so the hot water warms the whole tube .....i will see/feel it loosen up .....dump the water out and lay the tube strait as it cools it will hold that strait line)...ca the whole thing or just the sections u need ........give self a good amountof room .......u want the tube high enough for u to reach and steep angle so the water does not sit in line ...........tape the lines together under the canopy and at the end label them with a marker so u know what line is what plant

Just use the wand, or put them in a tray and bottom feed - both are easy to use and don't require much work for someone about to have surgery. Good luck, and hope you are OK.

i used a even weaker pump designed for fish tanks with a 15ft hose for years with no problems, nutes and such may ruin the pump over time but it will work just fine i think.

i totally agree with you with an addition, get a grabber that can reach your farthest pot, grab hose in grabber do anything you want from your chair!

do you have time to set up drip lines/watering lines? I just picked up a remote activated switch> here's the post i made:https://www.rollitup.org/t/wireless-holding-tank-pump-control.866950/

get this, set up some drip/feed lines..all you would have to do is keep up your res..when you want to feed/water..just hit the button. I use it in my make up water tank.. walk around the room with a hose..hit the button, top off..hit the button it stops, next res.
