How's it growing guys. Pretty new to this particular forum. I have been growing for about thirteen years indoors hydroponically. So i usually browse through the indoor forums. That is Until I moved into my new home And saw my backyard.
I don't think I've ever been more excited about getting to work on this outdoor grow then anything. It's almost over whelming because as i mentioned Up until now I've been an indoor grower.
Im gonna need all the input i can get from you outdoor organic aficionados. Oh, That's another thing I wanted to mention. I been in my closet playin' god for the last decade and a half... I want this grow to be completely organic. I'm talking bat shit, seabird crap pellets, volcanoe dust, worm doo doo and whatever else you old school hippie growers use to produce those tasty nugs (OUT OF POOP?) I WANT TO LEARN THE OUTDOORWAY.
My next post will be a rundown of what my plans are with some pics and you guys/gals can tell me if im on track or
if i should take my ass back into the grow room. Any help would be great especially from New growers. They tend to have a fresh out look on things and not be so stuck in there ways. But dont ignore me you old hippies with dirt all in your nails from playing in your gardens listening too the Beatles. Looking at your big ass skunky buds glisten in the morning Sun.
I want to be like you..

You are very condescending and unlikely to get what you need. Clearly you are very gracious for wanting to listen old hippies. Fuck you very much from all the hippies, young and old.

Wow... you must have took that way out of context. If it don't have to do with growing stay the fuck out thread. Just asking for help, thought i would do it in a comical way to Get old fucks or wannabe hippies like yourself attention. Looked like it worked. Capiche

No its a stand your ground state. So im standing my ground, and planting seeds in it. No seriously the laws are a little harsh on growing thats why i been forced to grow indoors. Up until now. i have a very private area on a nice size piece of land. Cops are at the very bottom of my list of worries as crazy as that might sound. Money talks bullshit walks if you get roped down here all you need is a paid attorney. Either way i got plenty of time to think about it. Not the best time of year to start in florida.

I appreciate the safety concerns. You guys are kinda scaring me back into my grow room lol.. but seriously the part Of florida i live in is currupt as Hell. meth cooks, pill mills, hookers etc....I know it's important to stay up to date on the local laws. But ive been growing indoors successfully for more then a decade. I want to take it out doors. I am confident that i can grow outdoors safely and successfully with the help from you guys. With that being said. Does anyone know a seed bank that sells REAL Equatorial sativa strains? Figured I would get something as close to a landrace as possible. I feel like maybe some haze strains might be more suitable for me. Don't know for sure.....

I'd really like to see someone find a gem in one of these packs and grow it outdoors

I'm running the Colombian Gold ones indoors right now but I think their real potential is outdoors with no limit on space...

"The Bastards Series offers a peak into the endless possibilities of open pollination. These packs contain seeds from several studs (male plants) and one mother. Gage Green Genetics put their finest mothers into an open pollination with their top performing fathers (from Chemdawg OG to Inferno Haze) to offer a broad selection for the genetic connoisseur"

IDK where to get a pure landrace from but there has to be some pretty decent crosses in these packs judging by all the grow journals I've seen of GG's gear...looks like all they make is fire

NICE! Very rarely do i bookmark seedbanks. Im definatley gonna check out some of there strains, but you nailed it with the columbian gold thats the first strain ghat came to mind when i decided i wanted to grow outdoor. I know from seeing with my own eyes That in south Florida colombian gold flourishes outdoors. Same with the panama red phenotypes i've seen. Thanks for the link. Oh and thats not to say i havent had great indoor grows with C.Gold. one of my best runs was a funky gold using lst, dwc, 200 watt hps.

I think im gonna get ten of the Mendo-supreme. depending on how many ladies i get I'm gonna do an indoor run with five (Since i missed the best outdoor season down here). This way i can monitor there growing characteristics, take some cuttings maybe for the hell of it. That will keep me occupied till around march and give me a head start. Who knows? i might crown one of those bitches my new wife and make her a mamma! Green genetics possibly my new go too sativa seed site. And That cali orange juice they got looks like it was sitting in the snow!

Changed my mind on a couple things. Gonna go with the The basterd series black or gold like aayron suggested. Also gonna get ten of the afghan haze basterd series. also have some qrazy train beans left over. Not sure what im gonna do. Maybe one giant each. Not sure about outdoor yield when it comes to the qrazy train and how well it will take to the subtropical environment I live in

Instead of twenty or thirty gallon pots im gonna construct a flowering bed with large planks of wood. Line the bottom with 2-4 inches Of hydroton for drainage. Instead of four or five average size plants. I'm gonna try my hand at a couple big ass chongers. Im gonna use a tressel or some thick chicken wire to drive into the base of flowering bed for training to bush out. Here's the smaller more secluded area of my property i plan on using..great southern exposure
CAM00322.jpg

might have to take down some trees so i can add a couple hours of sunlight (much as i hate cutting down Live Oak trees) I like takeing just as much as i have to but i get carried away with the chainsaws sometimesCAM00400.jpg

CAM00401.jpg

Ive been bullshitting
with some of the local farmers. I am really interested in the qaulity of the soil on this piece of land of mine. Unfortunately Most of the OG redneck farmers were i live, are secrative as Hell about there outdoor method. and grow operations and with good reason..its not legal and there's so many young punks around here you'd be lucky to get your girls transplanted before word gets out And they get ganked. oh well here goes nothin. This is kinda random but i thought i would throw in a pic of my "birds of paradise" tree i yanked out the woods (glades) not only did the transplant go smooth.CAM00343.jpg

But there's wild potatoe vines growing up and around the tree. Thats gotta say something about the ground soil here. CAM00037.jpgOh that's cur dog Bella. she's trying to show me how far back this brush has to be Cleared. I guess im gonna post all my actual journel threads in a journal entry outline. In the grow journal forum from here on out. Not sure if i should start it from consconstruction Phase to finish. or propagation to flowerin. probabley Post my progress on preparing my grow area here then when time comes put all the science and plant monitoring, stuff that makes me sound like a nerd to my friends that dont know anything about growing. My indoor hydroponic . Nutrient resovoir could easily be drained outside to some kind of recycled nutrient irrigation system. Skys the limit with this grow.
