Can't hang dry for first 4 days. .... Need advice.

Okay. Gonna chop my lady down tomorrow night. Due to circumstances, I won't be able to hang dry for the first 4 days. I was goin to put in open brown paper bag (fruits won't be on top of each other). Will this be okay? It will be in a place where there is not direct sunlight.
Advice appreciated! Thanks

could work just pay close attention to em for mold. i dont understand how you can set them out in open paper bags but not hang them. anywho long as their in a cool dark area theyll be ok if you keep an eye out for mold. few holes in the bottom part of the bag to help them breath would be nice to

I assume circumstances require cutting today? If not, let them go another four days, they'll only get better. If I had to cut and not hang for four days I would trim the buds while green and the leaves were still firm. Makes for easy trimming. Remove the buds from the stems and spread one layer deep in bags or boxes. Keep in a dark, dry place with a fan if possible. Should not be a problem.

Thanks for all the responses guys. The buds are good to go. ~10-15% amber. Just how I like it. Well the space I use to hang dry is going to be occupied by my mother since I can't leave her out. :-) I have one small grow area so I can't keep both mother and curing buds in one area, especially if Im going to have my lights on for the mother. I'll be able to check late nightly of the drying buds to make sure they aren't growing mold. Once my gathering is over, I can move the mother back out and properly hang the buds in my grow box.

you could just like set a cardboard box in the room somewhere and hang them inside that with some holes cut for air with a fan nearbye

4 days is not a long wait. they won't change much. Hold off and do it right. You've come too far for shortcuts now.

If you havent chopped them already put them in a dark room for a few days to jack up the resin production, like 2 days in total darkness

Got that covered. 36 hours of darkness started today @ 7am. Chopping tomorrow night @ 9ish. :-)

Skervy, youre right. It's about not being able to hang. I know my buds are pretty much ready now. 10-15% amber.
But I appreciate everyone input!

very much a myth... if u absolutely have to chop them down u could always lay them on a screen... but if u can let them go four more days i would for sure let em go

so what about hang drying under your bed or behind the headboard? or in a cabinet somewhere? behind the couch maybe? have you got an attic? you could tie them up in a dresser drawer, remove the clothes and string 'em up. you could unplug the washing machine or dryer and hang them in there to dry out. Put up a Christmas tree and hang them like ornaments close to the trunk. string up behind your TV or media cabinet. Necessity drives innovation.

i heard the two days in total darkness before cutting is detrimental to the plants health. if i were you i would just harvest it now find a dark spot and hang em like you should. been at it too long for shortcuts. just find another place to set it up; attic, car trunk, ect. im sure you can come up with something
