Can't get this strain to Flower. 5 weeks and no sign of sex!

Hello Everyone,

So here is my story.. This is my “Second grow”, I quote the second since it’s more of a continuation of the first plant, but a second try with clones.

The mother was a mystery seed that I got off a bud, so I’m expecting a high probably of having a hermy plant on my hands; but its ok, I’m learning here.
My main issue is as follows. These Clones will not flower and are driving me mad, I’m starting to doubt what I’ve learned so far:)
They have been in flowering for 5.5 weeks, and are not showing their sex !!
Now this started with the mother; She was the exact same way, but I did have an accident where my lights were on for 48 hours due to a glitch in the timer, but I did wait for 5 weeks after that for her to show her sex, but she never did.. for 3 months I kept here in flowering before I decided to pull the plug and kill her. So now she is gone, but I had clones taken from here before I put here to flower.
The clones are what I’m here for! I have 3 of them, One I kept as the new mother, and the other 2 I put in the flowering closet.

This is a picture of the new mother on the right, and one of the flowering two. You can see the increase in size, The lights were really close to the plant, but it kept stretching, and stretching out of control.
Behind the chair is the small grow closet, its on 2 LED lights keeping the mother nice and healthy. (smells really nice and fresh :) )

2.jpg
This is the bigger grow closet; I tried to take the picture at an angle where the lights are somewhat visible, as you can see I’m running on 6x105W CFL’s 4 up top, and 2 on the lower back, there is a vent that sucks the heat out of the apartment, and cooler AC’d air is dragged in.

Different view of the 1mx1mx2m grow tent.

A close-up attempt with my iPhone, basically all I’m seeing are the Green pods forming , which result in more Green growth.

This is another thing I noticed, it started appearing on the mother when I put her in flowering, and now its showing on the clones. Its increasing in density exponentially, the mother had them all the way ¾ of the way up the main stem. I’ve been told that they are blisters and a sign that the plant wants to form roots there. But I don’t see why it would do that. The PH of the soil is fine, the PPM is good too. So what’s going on here? i know it's not root bound, those pots are big.

Any advice ?
I’ve tried putting the plants in 30 hour darkness in an attempt to force them into flowering. This was done when I decided to flower them.
I’ve reduced the light to 11light/13 dark since 2 weeks now, again attempting to force it to flower.

I’m pretty much out of ideas here; oh, in case someone says its due to a light leak during its dark period. I’ve taken precautions against that, I spent a lot of time with the mother plant trying to figure out if there was a light leak, cause I wasn’t seeing it if I put myself in the closet with the lights out. So now the only light in the room is a green light, so there are no accidents of anyone turning the lights on in the room where the closet is and having light leak in!

Some cheap green lightbulbs are painted/sprayed green on the inside they're no good. You want one with green glass otherwise everytime u turn it on you're disrupting the light cycle causing the plants to reveg

Your plants dont show ANY signs of flowering. They are NOT getting a dark period of 12 hours. There is light getting in. That plant is a very strong sativa. If you get it to flower now it will be 15 feet tall before it finishes. Your plant also has a fungal infection.

Im tempted to say your probably right on track.... I have never seen a fruitful yeild from CFL's. Its always little baby nugs, Plus Sativa strains can take weeks more then the standard 8 weeks. For the size of those plants you dont have nearly enough lumen's in the right spectrum. Plus remember its 1 gallon per 1 foot of plant for your container, even if you had the right lights, that would affect your yield.

Put a camera in the box, and hav it on durin the whole dark period, then scan through it fast, definately worth a try .......... My problem was, for some reason they would com on randomly for 10 - 30 min flashing. One plant was female, and the other was male, so i pollinated!!!

I have a Green CFL, I'm assuming its using Green glass. I'm seriously considering to simply remove the light from that room altogether, it's a backroom that no one enters anyways. Thanks for the idea. :)

Thank you Irie,
i agree there are no signs after 5 weeks, and this is the second plant from the same gene to do that. The mother was the first, and now this clone. I'm positive its getting the 12 hours dark, I've checked, and double checked, and even triple checked it all. everyone kept pointing their fingers at the lights so i spent alot of time confirming that it wasn't the cause. is there any other known reason why a plant might delay its flowering ?

I agree these plants will be too tall to handle if they start flowering now, Thats kinda why i had to get rid of the mother.
Honestly i lost interest in them flowering a high yield; I've started to clip the tops where the big colas would form, I might get some of the side branches to form nice buds, but i just want them to flower lol.

You mentioned fungal infection.. that got me worried, could you name it please? i'm curious as to what you might think it is. honestly it does look like fungus.
the blister is full of water, and the top is a hard shell that seems to be forming from the stem. it starts off as a white bubble, and develops into a dark surface with small "beginning of" root stubs <-- if that made any sense.

after all of the torture it has suffered you will difinately have a hermaphoradite on your hands.
torture ? what do you mean. the clones were healthy from the get go. The original mother faced a little torture as i leaned to top and LST, even tried to super crop and lolly pop the damn thing :) I was surprised it recovered and start to get bushy and huge.
the only suffering the clones faced was the lack of light the first 2 weeks cause the mother was taking it all up :)

What do you mean by "on the right track?" could a sativa take 5 weeks to even show its sex ?
i also agree with your other points, but as far as lights go, this is what i have available around me. but again, all your points are in favor of having a bigger yield, i should still be able to flower these 2 under the CFL's i currently have. but that is just not happening in my case.
