Cant get BHO right

@Fadedawg I tried again with 30g and results were a little better, as in im able to touch it but its still like taffy. I can pull it off the paper and roll it into a ball with some sticking to fingers which you can dab off with the ball.

I froze the packed material and a can of tane for two days (forgot)... I pressurized and soaked for 30 minutes in freezer rotating it every so often. I blasted the remainder of the can with about 10% left because it was running clear. I then water bathed untill liquid was gone and then scraped it up and spread it very thinly on parchment paper. I placed into my preheated vacuum chamber @115° with no vacuum yet. It bubbled up alot with tiny bubbles, so I waited about 5 minutes then hit it with vacuum until it started to get bigger bubbles and muff a little. After about 10 minutes bubbles started slowing so i gave it full vacuum @30 until all bubble ceased and it appeared to be fluid. I flipped and did the 1/2 vacuum etc to full vacuum to fluid then removed and let it air dry for a day.

What could i try to possibly get a crumble or something because im never going to get a shatter. I just want something that isnt so sticky.

I suggest soaking less time and winterizing it to remove the plant waxes, before boiling off the alcohol. IE, place the alcohol mixture in the freezer for 24 hours to precipitate the waxes and then filter them out using #1 lab filter or coffee filter.

Carboxylic acids are hard and brittle, but soften in the presence of terpenes and plant waxes.

If you are looking for crumble, you might consider whipping it during final purge.

@Fadedawg I have tried dewaying with Ethonol a while back with the same material and it still came out the same consistancy. I have no idea what the heck im doing wrong...

I open blast in air fryer liners that go straight in to my chamber after hot water bath, only freeze my butane
Mine LOOKS like the exact same but cant do anything with it because its sooooo sticky. I took the last run i did and laid on the heat mat set to 120° f and whipped the crap out of it for at least 10 minutes and put in vacuum chamber with no vac at that temperature, i read it would turn it to crumble but we will see!

Mine is stable and can handle my heat mat is set a 60,
Once butane evaporate i place in chamber on the heat mat
Turn pump on and off and control muffin with the valves so it stays in paper dish,

Once its at full vac leave for day or 2,
I find that every few hours open valve let air in chamber then pump on again and leave pumping once at full vac sucking moisture out

I just whipped the crap out of it again for 5 min or so, it was like taffy. I put back into chamber full vac @120° and it muffed up for a few minutes and settled into the second image. Im. Not shutting off pump and leaving it in there to see if it will dry out and turn to crumble but I doubt it will, it alway settles into a liquid appearance like maple syrup

And you cant get stable or to go to crumble from there
Either.... I have tried this many times with same material and it always turns out the same. Not stable taffy. I cant figure out what im doing incorrectly and it's driving me insane i have ran 30g material like 10 times and every time it comes out exactly like this. I have tried turning the heat up and trying to make crumble and it just mellows out into a unstable shatter.

Could it be I shouldn't be going full vac? Should I raise vacuum chamber pressure until it just barely muffs up which would be around 26 and it stays fluffy looking for a long time but never dries out into crumble.

Okay, these images are I whipped it again. My temperature is at 120 Fahrenheit and I only allowed the pressure to reach -26 and it staying fluffy like crumble but never dries out.

Why arnt u going to full vac, i get mine at -29 amd still leave pump running for 5 mins feeling it for oil getting hot, if u arnt going to full seems as tho you are not sucking enough moisture out hence why its not getting stable or going to crumble

You need to keep going on full vac past the muffin stage and keep sucking the moisture out, are u leaving on the heat mat at full vac for good few hours at a time

I never turn off heat mat. I have tried full vac on previous attempts never turning off pump for days on end and it never drys out, it always looks like shatter but is the consistency of very sticky taffy.

Should I go higher in temperature at full vacuum?

I'd check the separation to make sure I removed all the waxes. I'm following hoping you'll find the solution soon.

What do you mean separation? I have NOW cranked up in chambers vacuum to -30 @120°f (not shutting off pump) and here is what it looks like.

In a previous batch i did try winterizing and running through a Buckner then vacuum chamber after cooking off ethanol and STILL i had same results

He posts his method^^ there. While you're rechecking steps I'd definitely go over my sep. procedures.
