Clones, Transplanted into Happy Frog 8 weeks ago. Didn't do well. Transplanted into Ocean Forest 2 weeks ago, finally growing.

I was overwatering (first time grower) but I think I have that under control now.

HPS 600w, four plants. 5 gallon pots.

Added CalMag last watering, 4 days ago.

Water is ph'd to 6.5 put into Ocean Forest soil. I'll check ph of water run off tomorrow when I water.

Other then that, what do you suggest?

I haven't added any nutes except the CalMag on the last watering and some SuperThrive (I think it a 1/4 teaspoon to 1 gallon) when I first planted them but that was 2 months ago. I got almost no growth until last week.

Calmag for sure and easy on the super thrive I think it's like 2-3 drops per gallon. Nutes only now 8weeks in? Better start or you will see issues the first two weeks of flower. Don't go nuts on the nutes though keep within manufactures ppm.
see some cupping of the leaves too so if you are totally letting her dry before watering again then ph your soil might be off.

and 1 little thing is don't be waiting for & expecting any leaves already damaged to fully heal & suddenly look strong & whole again. For signs of recovery always look to the new growth, which should come out green & healthy as normal, if all has been cured. Those old leaves may plump up a little, etc but more likely they'll stay limp looking & maybe die off quicker than others would.

Wow were you correct about high ph. Sorry I doubted you. The run off water is at 7.44 ph.

Can someone explain to me how the ph got so high? Please. The soil is Ocean Forest and the water I use is ph'd to 6.5. I am not using any nutes except the calmag I used during the last two waterings.

Also, should I flush the soil? Or just adjust the water lower? Or should I do something else?

Thanks and I really appreciate you all taking the time to help a noob out.

High ph looks similar but what you have looks like nute burn. Dark leaves etc. Doesn't have the root structure yet for a lot of ferts. Dunno bout that soil but might be hot.

The hardest part of forums is trying to figure out the good advise from the bad advise. Maybe I don't add enough info but when I add all the info people are like "to long, didn't read"

So, the leaves were dark green shortly after I put them in Happy Frog. They spent about 6 weeks in Happy Frog and barely grew an inch. Finally someone told me that Happy Frog was good for seedlings but not really good for vegging because there wasn't enough nutes. That I could either add nutes or transplant to Ocean Forest. Since my pots were to small, I decided to transplant. The plants immediately started to grow but the claw leaf and dark green continued.

I've heard that Ocean Forest is hot but the symptoms started in Happy Frog and I've heard that soil is not Hot.

I PH my water to 6.5 but my run off is at 7.44 which would indicate hot soil.

PS, I have 3 other plants and they are all spewing different symptoms. I can post pics if that'll help.

Really, just need to know what my next step is.

Thanks everyone. I need all the help I can get.
