Canoeing Leaves, But its WEIRD, need HELP!

As I said... I've got a minor issue with canoeing leaves. Well, lets hope its minor...

I've noticed, and I am being 100% accurate about the TIME FRAME when this problem shows up, that after the 6 hours of dark... the canoeing issue is at its worst. After the 18 hours of light, the canoeing issue has almost fully corrected itself. I also have just the slightest bit of yellowing tips, but those have stopped getting worse and the color looks better in my ladies after I changed my reservoir yesterday.

Obviously, I'm running a hydro set-up in an enclosed cabinet. I'm using a HPS 250watt, my temps are 80-82 day, 75-77 night. My pH is great, as is my ppm's ( nutes already at 50% strength ). Should I mention, I'm using some top-shelf bag seeds I had lying around, no idea the strain, or pheno's, or anything... but, would that matter?

As I said, I'm confused by the timing of the canoeing. Why would it be worse after the dark period? Logically, wouldn't the dark period be the time my ladies would heal from stress, relax themselves, and look great just as my light turns on?

Should I not worry about this minor problem, especially since after the 18hrs of light, they look almost totally "normal" again?
What about the timing? Does that mean its a different problem I ain't even considered?

I would greatly appreciate any theories, suggestions, or solutions... Good Karma To All!!!

I could take some crappy pics with my cell phone and post them, if anyone thinks that would help.
