Canntrust's assistance plan, can you trust it?

Hello RIU community, is it too good to be true to have found a compassionate LP? https://www.canntrust.ca/shop/#PAP
Can we trust them as Canadian mmj patients? Looking into this program, my wife could save A LOT of money in this MMPR system. She recently renewed her prescription for $200. Not too long ago renewal was $100 (a year ago since the MMPR was in place). + would a hydroponic LP be safer than other methods of growing used by LPs? Seems to me, another way to pass regulations without irradiation. Thanks!

basically if you don't work it's free? or is that based on a dual income?

hydroponics has nothing to do with irradiation.
It will be irradiated.
I'm gonna bet also, you'll only be able to order table scraps, not top choice for sick people.

Every LP should provide it for free, if you're using medical marijuana you are probably too sick to have a job. It's disgusting that they expect poor people to pay their mortgages and CEO wages.

Sort of like Tilray's mould and bacteria laden house blend ?

Tilray irradiates. I guarantee it. I know several people who have worked there (and quit). The whole place is a shitshow this close to being closed down entirely.
hmmm, you would think if they irradiated they would mention it clearly on their website eh? do they tell you up front when you are ordering? their product is wayyy overpriced but usually at least was top notch quality

Have spoken with them twice this morning. Waiting on a call back with confirmation of whether or not they are willing to work with a Pediatric Patient.

I fully intend to continue growing on DS behalf but it will be 12 weeks minimum before I have anything useable. Temporary access through this company with consideration given to income level would be an absolute godsend.

CannTrust? Yes, they irradiate.
They were quite informative about the irradiation of their medicine. The first shipment of Canntrust went through an obligatory irradiation by HC. The team at Canntrust have sold their irradiation system due to their medicine passing quality control without irradiation. But, finally my wife decided to sign up with Medreleaf, after the incident regarding their crop on Nov. 11th, most of their strains have not gone through pasteurization at the moment. Which I suppose is a good growing standard for Medreleaf. Only Erez is irradiated atm.

@eddymatin Are you saying that Canntrust no longer irradiates ? Which incident regarding who's crop ? When I spoke to Medreleaf last week, I was told that they have not had any recalls to date.

I did ask them (Canntrust) about strain availability now and in the future. WYSIWYG on the front page. Other strains are currently in production and will be posted as they become available. It's encouraging to see that they do have some decent CBD offerings although the ones they do have look to be Sativa dominant.

It's only a matter of time until Health Canada makes it so LP's "won't be required" to show what they do with anything they grow.
Take it or leave it.
Soon come... :)

What the fuck are you talking about? There was no MedReleaf recall, and CannTrust ABSOLUTELY irradites. You're either confused, or trying to confuse everyone else. Just another LP fanboy.

First, I would like to respond to you on behalf of my wife because she is the MMPR patient, not me. Therefore, you should have wrote "Fangirl". Would be more appropriate. Second, many patients know that Medreleaf had crop issues between October-November 2014 harvest. It is not confusion, but the truth. This is why my wife's medical document got rejected and they kindly offered their waiting list, which she declined. She has now been holding onto her MEdical document since August without any luck with an LP until now. She got validated at Medreleaf and she is now "confused" wether to buy from her CC, which she has been doing so far, or go to the dark side and become legal with an LP. You can call Canntrust for yourself to ask about their irradiation policy. The only fanboy I see is you.

Check your attitude at the door. You come here spewing misinformation and lies trying to cover for CannTrust, how much do they pay you?

You didn't come here for 'advice', you came here to shill for CannTrust and claim their competitors had a recall. MedReleaf never had a recall, you're a proven liar as well as a proven shill. Take your bullshit to Leafly.
