so i just decided to try and make some cannabutter... im using popcorn buds and trims..... first time... using a crockpot style water and butter... been in there for 12 hours now.. just took a look and noticed the trichomes are still attached to the buds and leaves.... are they suppose to melt off? ive read many steps and watched many videos. I tried turning up the heat but nothing. any help?

Hey buddy, I read it was a dumbass idea to use fan leaves but I just mad a batch the other day and ground it up real fine, and made kinda like a tea bag with the dried cuttings and duble broiled it I guess for 6 hrs, I put it in a pyrodex bowl over simmering water and cooked it down, I added 1 cup of water bc that what I was instructed to do and seperated it off afterwords, but I used all the butter and the 1 cup of water for some brownies and they where badass, after about 3 I was pretty woozy

Typically just the round head comes off and the rest says you should be good to go
