Cannabis Oil for Fighting Cancer...

Hi RIU -

Is there anyone in the forum well versed in extraction of cannabis OIL for the treatment of cancer? And how to use it for the treatment of cancer. If so please direct me. My mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will refused radiation and chemo. I am looking for more homeopathic options.

Thanks for any guidance.

Personally i would try and get the cleanest extract possible..
Ricks methods produce the dirtiest (this has implications pharmacologically- absorption, solubility etc, as well as his methods destroying a good portion of compounds)
I would take anything he says with a huge grain of salt..he does openly admit he has no scientific background

But hes another story.
Yea go read up.
Try skunkpharm 1st then report back. huge topic. Id love to help, but go get the basics right quick.

I would go qwiso or qwet

I actually work for two very seasoned growers who have a lot of knowledge about this, as well the majority of our current crops are of strains specifically for cancer patients that are very high in CBD's and very very low in THC. We extract the oils in many variations using a Co2 extraction machine made of food grade steel. This is a VERY clean method of extraction and is done very methodically. I personally do not feel comfortable giving a solid answer as to the best method of treatment using these oils, but I will say I believe it may be to administer the oil orally. I would definitely like to help, and will be sure to ask my much more knowledgeable partners about this asap.

In addition to oils, you should also be looking into Vitamine C. When taken intravenously in high amounts it's been shown to stop tumor growth, kill cells etc... There is also lots of good info regarding certain diets that can help. Basically she needs to be eating extremely clean, all natural food. Do your research, good luck to you guys

Thank you - we are researching alkaline ph and clean eating along with cannabis oil treatment. I will look into the vitamin C thing.

Thanks so very much!
No need...I'm actually in a similar situation as you. However, in my case the "patient" is not optimistic nor interested in trying. :(
It's been nearly 2 months since diagnosis, and all I can do is watch them fade away at this juncture.

I am so sorry! I am contemplating sneaking it to her if she is non compliant. That would be selfish I know - I am conflicted.

I can't do that. I can only ask if it is wanted, and try to offer reason. Some people just don't want to try, and I would feel like I'm disrespecting their wishes if I snuck it to them. Besides, when there are other drugs and conditions involved, one should tread with caution.

Nevertheless, I'll try again.

for sure, I will actually be working with both my partners tomorrow and will be sure to get you some more detailed info.
sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you. so I had a good long talk with my partners about treating lung cancer specifically using cannabis oils. First, neither me or my partners are doctors, however one of my partners does work directly with cancer patients and does a lot of follow up during treatment with oils. One very important thing to be sure of if using cannabis oil for cancer treatment is to be absolutely positive that the oil has been extracted and handled in a VERY CLEAN manner in every stage from growing, harvesting, extraction and production. The oil being used should be very high in CBD's and low in THC,( our medical plants test @ 25% CBD to 1% THC, this is very high CBD concentration) there are many factors to consider during treatment. some of them are the patients age, how far along is the cancer? does the patient have a good appetite or is it poor? how are the patients white blood cell count? ultimately the more you know about the patient and how far into progression the cancer is the easier it will be to determine proper administration and dosage. if the cancer is not too far into progression, dosing the oil through a vaporizer may be a good option as it will saturate the lungs directly. If this causes too much irritation then applying drops of oil beneath the toung could be a good option as it will be absorbed into the body very quickly. otherwise mixing the oil into foods is also a very affective method of getting the oil into the patients system. hope this helps some, please let me know if you have any more questions I might be able to help with, best wishes!

My uncle has been taking high does of turmeric with black pepper. It has reversed his prostate cancer completely. People swear by RSO. I think there are videos on youtube on how to make it.

While cbd doesnt get you high and has medical implications thc's antitumor properties should not be ignored. Cb1 receptors are a very important aspect.

They should be used in combination, the tyoe of cancer can alter route of administration as well as what cannabinoids to take.
Specifically in this case a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio of thc:cbd is advised.

For example...
Antitumor Effects
During this 2-year study, groups of mice and rats were given various doses of THC by gavage. A dose-related decrease in the incidence of hepatic adenoma tumors and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was observed in the mice. Decreased incidences of benign tumors (polypsand adenomas) in other organs(mammary gland, uterus, pituitary, testis, and pancreas) were also noted in the rats. In another study, delta-9-THC, delta-8-THC, and cannabinol (not cbd but cbn, very different) were found to inhibit the growth of Lewis lung adenocarcinoma cells in vitro and in vivo .

these compounds have been shown to induce apoptosis in glioma cells inculture and induce regression of glioma tumors in mice and rats, while they protect normal glial cells of astroglial and oligodendroglial lineages from apoptosis mediated by the CB1 receptor.

effects of delta-9-THC and a synthetic agonist of the CB2 receptor were investigated in HCC (cbd is an antagonist or inverse agonist , thc actually hits cb1 and cb2 relatively equally, thcv is a strong cb2 agonist in comparison ).Both agents reduced the viability of HCC cells in vitro and demonstrated antitumor effects in HCC subcutaneous xenografts

a subsequent study, the investigators found that the antiproliferative effect of CBD (also effects cb1) was counteracted by selective CB1 but not CB2 receptor antagonists, suggesting an involvement of CB1 receptors.

Etc

As for rso, I HIGHLY recommend not using such a product

This is very good information! thank you for the input. I can grow the stuff pretty good, but I still have a ton to learn about all the uses.

Thanks again. We are pending biopsy results but post pet scan the initial diagnosis is stage 3 lung cancer including adjacent lymph nodes. Patient is a 79 yr old female in otherwise good health. She is not yet symptomatic but the appetite is starting to wane. I also understand that using the oil in suppository form is effective. Still not clear on dosing, however. While she is decisioning radiation/chemo we have started juicing raw cannabis leaves until the oil and appropriate dosing is available. She is at least now open to trying and we are hopeful. We are also pursuing diet that will create alkaline ph in the body and researching baking soda options. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Curious what you'd recommend as a substitution for RSO? So many conflicting reports out here. Precious cargo in need of treatment!!!

I have also heard great things about turmeric and chewing appleseeds. Care to share how the turmeric is uses specifically? Thanks.
