Canna Oil Oven vs Stove

Hi, I'm making some canna oil and was wondering pro and con versus doing stove top / crockpot vs oven.

I have had little luck in the past even though I decarb, soy leticin and do the right temps so I just want to make sure I'm doing the better method.
