I didn't want to get into myths just wanted a simple answer to do I have to pH this flush solution up to normal range.
Didn't think this would be too hard to answer as said many times tapering down is the way.
Look at this chart and then decide what you should do if you use something that lowers your pH that much.

Another point about flushing I just found on Ed Rosenthal says you won't wash nutes out the media when pH is wrong because nutrients aren't soluble out of the pH range meaning they get locked in the media so there you go

To rinse, use tepid water (about 75° F/ 24° C) that is adjusted to a pH of about 5.8-6.0, which is the range at which the nutrients are all soluble.

If they are insoluble then the roots can’t uptake them either. Isn’t that the point of flushing?

Basically gonna try it both ways and see what works. I can see why people think it's a waste of money but I've got it now so want to get to the bottom of it
