Canna Aqua dwc flushing question

I am new to dwc, I started the dwc with botanicare and after a retarded amount of research, I switched to the canna aqua line, plus rhizo, pk13/14, boost and cannazyme. I am honestly a converted beleiver in canna, the plants are growing like crazy.

However, in the online grow guide that i am using, it is saying that i nute till the end. Is there not a flushing period? I'm after quality and quantity in that order, but i do not want to subject my gf to any funky tastes that shouldn't be there. Is this right to nute until harvest? Also, should i be adding cal mag to the mix as well?

no one using canna?

i am using canna and planning on flushing at the end of the grow, that just seems logical to remove any nasty toxins that maybe in the plant, even if this is unecessary i think i will still do it anyway. i wouldn't be afraid to deviate from the guide, people have different tastes and standards and maybe the writers was yield and not finished product?

ive brought some mag an high nitro nutes to top up these levels on my hydro grow, can't really think of anything else i would need, but then again im no expert, just an avid amateur.
