Candida CD1

I'm about ready to chop a Candida CD1 Sativa Pheno. I am happy with the plant. It survived despite my ignorance. It got off to a rough start but came back strong. I took a bud off last night and slow dried it in a warm oven. I know it's not the best way to dry weed but I wanted a sample. It doesn't get you high and that's a good thing. I grew this for CBD not THC and so far I think it delivered. I'm going to process this into coconut oil for massaging and some for edibles. I've been smoking some and despite the lack of psychoactive properties I think it's a calming weed. I feel relaxed and calm but that could be the placebo effect. But I definitely don't have the nerve pain I usually have. But again that could be the placebo effect.

Regardless, I have the Sativa pheno of this strain and I made a few clones. I'm going to keep growing it. I believe in the medicinal properties of cannabis.

The plant turned into one big flower. It smells great by the way.

There is nothing under the label.

I grew a CBD strain and it happened to be the sativa pheno. That pheno is supposed to have a higher CBD level than the indica pheno so I'm happy. My girl has some medical / physical issues and we're trying to use alternative medicines instead of poisoning her body with pharmaceuticals.

You're posts are typically spot on and informative. I don't understand why you make fun of me for growing some medicine.

This Cup winning high CBD strain has impressed with its growth and stability in production. In testing THC levels have never yet exceeded 1% and CBD levels have tested between 11% and 20% making it one of the first CBD dominant cannabis strains in history. It was recognised at the Spannabis Champions Cup 2017 taking 2nd place in the CBD category.

Description
With a ratio of 20:1, the high CBD levels and their associated anti-psychotic capabilities outweigh the relatively small amounts of THC removing the “high” and providing the patient with a non-psychoactive cannabis Sativa L plant.
Breeder: MM Genetics
Variety: Mostly Sativa
THC Content: 0.5%
CBD Content: 11-20%
CBD to THC ratio: 20:1
Sex: Feminised
Flowering Time: 9 Weeks
Yield: High
Medicinal Use: Depression, ADHD, Anorexia, Epilepsy, Autism.

CD-1 is a high yielding feminised strain with a unique lemon flavor and aroma that compliment its medicinal properties.

Candida will noticeably produce two different phenotypes; a sativa and an indica. Initial research has suggested that the sativa phenotype will produce lower, whispier yields often associated with sativa strains. We have noticed to date that the sativa pheno produces higher CBD counts. In comparison, the indica pheno will produce bigger, denser yields with lower CBD levels but still with significant CBD content. The sativa can be harder to manage and will have larger distances between the internodes making the plants more vulnerable.
Chromatography
All our strains have been tested independantly by both Canna and Totem Labs.

I had that happen to me here a few times. Im surprised it's always the veterans, not the newbies. People will judge you because you don't want to get high. heeyyyy dude why do you smoke if you're not getting high? lol. Just ignore it. Thanks for the report, my next grow will be candida. I just finished my hurkle x dinamed cross but to be honest it's still high in thc, (the hurkle, and I heard dinamed is too) so I will probably use candida for day to day smoke and my cross for the weekends where I don't care being stoned (just not too much). I know a lot of people who consume CBD and it's great for some purposes (much better than thc at dealing with anxiety, pain, etc and no secondary effects).

Im hoping they release more CBD stable strains this year. The only one that is really stable after much investigation is Candida.

Dinamed and CBD therapy will still have high thc in some phenos.

i heard shantibaba say in a video i believe was the prague expo vid on youtube that therapy was the most stable cbd strain there was as out of every batch bred there was 100 tested at random and 0.7 thc was the highest they found not sure if true!

I asked CBD crew and this is what they told me:

As you might know CBDTherapy is not 100% stabilized. which means that the percentage of THC might be higher that 1% THC in some seeds , we see that it is CBD dominant and about 50% of the seeds will be closer to 2:1 - 5:1 CBD:THC and the other 50% will be closer to 20:1 - 30:1

Dinamed was supposed to be low THC too and it is not stabilized. Candida is the only one that seems stabilized from seed, but im not 100% sure. No one has reported getting high with Candida, but I haven't seen lab tests.

For anyone interested in this strain. I grew out one seed as a mother plant and flowered out some clones. The plant looks very sativa with super fluffy buds. I got it tested if anyone cares to see my results here: https://client.sclabs.com/sample/310389/
I can smoke a whole joint of this stuff and not feel one bit high at all. Just some mild body and mind relaxation. I really like it for my anxiety and panic attacks. Here are some pictures from today just a couple weeks from harvest.
