♥ Congrats on getting the sativa pheno!!! :) :) :) It seems that's the CBD goldmine (i guess it makes sense seeing as hemp strains aren't indicas). I will be growing Candida in my next grow, thanks to the successful work from this thread.
ps. I've heard ACDC/Thunderstruck is also difficult to grow

How are things going?

I started a cd1 seed about 9 months ago but I shut everything down about half way through flower. It was definitely the sativa pheno. I've grown out the acdc clone and the sativa pheno was a spitting image of it. It's harder to grow and will absolutely topple over. Since I only finished acdc and not cd1 but that they looked identical that's what I'll speak on. The acdc buds are not pretty and in my opinion are better suited for either edibles or extract. I smoked some it was great cbd effect with no high. My friends mom was diagnosed with late stage 4 cancer so I turned all the buds into a batch of butter for her. I also made a batch of rice crispies for her and I tried one to make sure no psycho active effects (she didn't want to feel high) and it was wonderfully medicinal.
But back to the point.. If I had to choose I'd look for the Indica pheno personally just cuz better buds for smoking seems more appealing. I have about 15 of the cd1 seeds and just started another one. It came through the soil and the leaves are already discolored.. Can't tell if it's a nutrient burn at this point.. Might indicate she's very sensitive to nutrients cuz I've never had this issue with this soil and any other strain over 10 years. I recall the acdc was nutrient sensitive and much lighter green than everything else as well.
It's too early to tell if I have the sativa or Indica pheno but in my opinion this strain is the magic that everyone is looking for.. High cbd minimal thc in seed form.
