Last year I had great success with BDW revenge and bumper.. Both strains did over lb per plant with the exception of one revenge freak that pushed nearly 2 lbs! I was pleasantly surprised by some fem frisian dew seeds I was gifted. They turned amazing purples and finished end aug-sept7.. Very good quality for such an early strain. Ambrosia from Jordan of the islands was also a great turnout. My absolute favorite new outdoor MAMMOTH is bc bud depots "the big"... These girls gave me massive yield of pure dank delicious frost covered nuggets of joy! They finish late Sept and when I told friends it was outdoor grown they told me I was full of shit lol... Indoor quality look and smell..... So needless to say I will be using my best pheno generously this coming season. 2014 will also be doing Jordan of the islands afghani, blue timewarp, gods green crack... TGA qrazy train will also be favored this year after the amazing results I got from a single seed of it I had. I'll be adding a few more soon so I'll update when I'vemare more decisions. I was lucky enough where I live in bc that we had warm dry fall weather and have pushed some strains that finished on Halloween with no problems. I will be putting out only a few late strains this year as I know this weather pattern may change and bite me in the ass if I rely on it with too many plants.
Damn okana Qrazy train finished outdoors in Canada! That's crazy. Pheno hunting a ten pack now so ill have those this spring! Do u remember the finish date by chance? Thanks in advance.

This is an old thread but I thought I would see what all my fellow Canadians are running outdoor this year. Myself I will be running GrandDaddyPurple IBL, Island Sweet Skunk and a high CBD strain called Dirty Dancing.. Vegging is underway with hopes of moving them outside before June 1st.

Just made a seed order and I think I might go 5-6 plants for outside. On my list of potential plants from seed

Blackberry Moonrocks
Starkiller x Dosidos
Chocolate Mint OG
Blue Cheese
Cinderella 99(?)
Northern Lights #10

I might change or add a strain here or there, but I wanna start from seed. Last year most were from clones, but I want from seed for easier training with my tomato cages. I might try to get them going inside one of the tents first and then move them out in Mid May or they might start from seed outside. Last year was terrible for me with WPM on everything and some plants just didn’t mature like I wanted them too. Also leaned a bit more sativa for most strains. This year I’m gonna stick to mostly Indicas. Most of the above had mid/late September harvest dates (which should help) Plus I want it more for sleep aid and my tent will be for growing my sativas

Just curious about the harvest dates, is that strictly breeder info or by experience? I grew 5 last year. Bc outdoor. Germed April 19 inside. Outside in the ground May 31. I can relay from my grow. Chiral Jack fast(the fast is bullshit) took longer than breeder said. Was harvested Oct 4 and Oct 11. Amnesia lemon fast(again fast total bullshit) harvested end of October barely made it lost main cola on one plant to rot. And Dos-Si-Do. End of October. Lost a bit to rot. But all finished.
So I’m looking for a couple new strains this year. Only growing 2 plants this year.
this Is CJ at Harvest. Only one I’d recommend for no worry harvest grow.

It‘s breeder, so I know to take that with a grain of salt. Although I did get to harvest my Mango Sapphire last year in mid/late September like the breeder said. The year before was a great year for me with about 5 plants producing over +1000g (Alaskan Purple, Jack Herer, Blueberry, Glookies) wet bud, and one over 1700g (Black Domina) Nice looking plant there.

Awesome! Would you recommend the mango Safire? Where in Canada you grow?

Mango Sapphire isn’t bad but was hoping a bit stronger myself. Still got frosty, easily trained and again, early outdoor finisher. My yield I think could of been better but I had bugs issues at the start that slowed their grow for the first 3 weeks outside. I’m live in Southern Ontario, closest big city would be Hamilton

Now I get why your getting good grows and time, southern ON, try that crap in MB and it's Russian roulette. Good luck with the C99 - I tried it and got a bunch of 10 Ft tall and bullet proof monsters that produced popcorn farts for buds. Maybe the genetics IDK it turned out crappy for amount but flavour of what I had was not bad.

Thanks for the info. Not sure I’ll try it. Still looking for any other mid/sept finishers referrals. I would definitely recommend the Critical Jack Fast from Canuck seeds. It was a beauty grow. The pics I posted are from it. Total was 19oz of dried:cured bud. Nice nugs. No popcorn or trim included in that weight. Smells great. Gets you right baked. Lol.

Here in Yukon, I run Autos exclusively during the summer, and shut down indoor activities.

Drop seed indoors May 15th, out to the greenhouse June 10th.

This year:
