Hey how's it growing everyone?
I just wanted to start a thread for us Canadian growers.
Just a place for us to chat and show off our grows. Talk about what strains/ methods each other use, and maybe even make some friends.

Well to start off, I'm in Eastern Canada,
-I do indoor soil grow with 400 watt hps
-I also do an all miracle grow
I know I know.....everyone puts it down but it works for me
-I use Miracle Grow premium potting mix 0.14-0.14-0.14 with Shultz perlite
-for veging nutes, Miracle Grow 24-8-16
-for flowering, Miracle Grow 15-30-15 and molassas 2 tbl spoons a gallon.
So far I've completed 3 grows and on my 4th now.
The strains I've grown are:
1st grow was honey dew.
2nd grow was bag seed
3rd grow was orange mass and green elfy
4th and current grow bag seed and honey dew mother and first Lst.

Hey hardroc, nice to see a Canadian related post. I'm in NS too! Got a few grows under my belt but still have lots to learn.

Recently switched my grow to the basement and am now having to deal with some cold temps.

Never heard of Honey Dew... is it a sweet smoke? I've got some G13 and what I'm told is some sort of government strain. Both really decent. Got some blueberry and cheese coming up behind them too.

i dunno just walked in and asked her for seeds. she gave me a menu and I cringed at the high marks on the connoisseur seeds and bought the $30 mixed bag. 10 non-femmed mixed genes seeds.

Hey man that's wicked, I wonder how many Scotian's are here?
It's an on going learning experiance, even the old vets learn new things. I just have fun with it, it's my favorite hobby lol.
I never have too high of expectations, whatever I get is good enough for me, but don't get me wrong more is better

Truthfully I don't really know how the honey dew is, I had to chop at 5 weeks cause the po po decided to give me an unexpected visit for unrelated incidents. So it was pretty immiture, but i got stoned off it. I just kept the mother going and am finally going to see what it's really like.
I wish I had pic of the orange mass and green elfy, orange mass is MASSIVE and good smoke, nice and light stone so you can go on you merry giggly way, good for out and about stone. got almost 2oz's dry off one plant, with cfl's!!!!
Green Elfy was good also but for a night at home watching tv or checking threads on here lol.
I always wanted to try Bluberry, alot of outdoor growers grow that around here.

So I'm guessing you're from B.C. then eh? $30 for 10 seeds? That's pretty good. Did they turn out ok? any males?

ya. right, well I was pretty shitty it was my first grow but I learned quickly by doing deep water culture hydroponics and had a great yield the second round. first time (off dry smokable) 2 ounce off 1000w, second time 13 ounce, this time 600w and estimate 3 ounce, but had a lot of problems along the way - tiny space cause big problems. upgraded to a large tent now tho so no longer closet growing. the seeds were good tho there were some autos some cool phenos and some males of course, they were all very different so it was a good introduction for me.

13oz's NICE pull, from how many? My first grow was 400w mh and I had to move so I was reduced to 2 cfl grows, now I moved again and I have a 400 hps, next go around I'm goning to plant some more orange mass, I still got like 15-20 seeds left, I'll plant 3 and keep the best one as a mother and keep cloning. I used bag seed this time to test out the 400 hps, as it has alot of heat, and didn't want to waste good seeds if they died from heat.
Is that what you ment by little space alot of problems? The heat?
How did you like the auto's?

"I always wanted to try Bluberry, alot of outdoor growers grow that around here."

Good to know. I attempted some Power Plant and AK-47 outside this year. They did OK, but never really reached their potential (and it was so wet here in Sept/Oct they started to rot a little).

Have you heard of any other strains that do well around here, in this crazy north-eastern climate?

Yea it was a really shitty fall this year, sooooo damn wet, my buddies were pissed.
Well what my outdoor buddies grow is, well one guy grows bluberry STRICTLY, and nothing else, cause he says it's a really healthy plant that resists most molds and diseases, good strong growing strain.
Another one of my buddies, last year he grew Afgany and Blue GOD. The Blue God, was an amazing harvest for him, really good smoking, the best I've ever smoked actually, the smoke was so smooth that it was just like breathing, not really much of a taste either.
The Afgany of his didn't yeild that much, but I think it was the shitty weather, man at times his plants were in puddles this year, really freaking wet.
but yea....he said he's definatly going to keep a good sized crop of just Blue God and have some other strains hanging around out there.
