Once I had a very fast growing phenotype of Mickey Kush. This plant grew twice as quickly in a vertical direction than any other strain I had at the time. I was pretty lazy and let it get too tall once. I thought I could cut her in half and her lower branches would take over, but I was wrong. I cut off too much and she started flowering as a response. Sadly she never really recovered despite months of vegging under 18/6 and I had to chop her from my garden. I guess I stressed it out too much and triggered some kind of hormonal response. I would be careful about taking too much at once, and would never chop more than 25% of a plant at any given time for topping purposes.

As far as your girl goes, see how she recovers being taking any drastic action. Good luck brother.

It'll be fine. Whatever nodes are still on it, will slowly take on the roll as top colas and grow up from those spots.
Ok thanks I have limited space like 30x15x15 I wanted it to grow short I noticed today that there are 3 different sprouts coming out of the 2nd set of branches should I top those in a week or so im trying to get as much as I can out of this little box I don't want to over grow it

Dont top the top again, but instead top the side branches.

High Froggy

You need to use some Bloom in there too as it has the P and K and the plants need that during veg as well. Just use it at 1/3 to 1/2 as much as you do the Grow and Micro. Don't go with the 4mls/L they say on the bottle either. If you don't have one all ready get a ppm pen. For little ones like that you want 300 - 400 ppm then you can add small amounts of nutes to raise the ppm as the plants get bigger and start eating it up. If you use RO water you can go a whole grow without changing nutes tho I do one change after the plants are finished stretching in flower and cut out the Grow using just the M and B at a 1:2 ratio with a full dose of Big Bud.

Don't bother changing your nutes for a long time yet. Those tiny plants aren't eating hardly anything yet so to change them every week like they want you to would be like flushing cash down the toilet.

I've been using AN nutes with DWC for 15 years and just bought a gallon each of the 3 - part along with a 500g jar of Big Bud for flowering time. That stuff along with Rhino Skin and a bit of CalMag is all I use for DWC and growing in soilless.

Your plants should be fine but try to be a little more careful next time. I top almost everything above the 4th node.

If you top the side branches then their side branches spread out and the plants will grow dense in the center around the main stem. Good to do in a SoG to get donkey dick type colas but not for all situations.

Good luck!

I recently topped my plant and accidentally clipped off the whole 3rd set what wI'll happen is this too much stress should I start over
I top above the second node on almost all my young plants, you can top at the first node but I don't. As soon as the stem pushes out of the second node and gets long enough to see what I'm doing
I cut it. Small plant, small cut, small stress.

That plant might pull through but I'd bet good money it won't be female or hermie at best due to it's size vs the severity of stress.
