I know this is an old post but it is the first to come up in google search and I think it is a damn good question!
The answer is yes and I learned the hard way.
Story: Just coming of age and took a flight to Amsterdam with a good friend. Had a long day of hitting smoke shops and my money was running thin. I ran down to Blue Bird coffeshop to spend the last of my money on this supposed blue cheese that was worth the long walk (it most def was!!).
Anyway we get in and you know are americans so we have no clue what we are ever doing. We see a smoking sign/room and are like oh hey let's just smoke a fat j in that room! Like one person was in the room so we had the window seat and could look out at the canal area while rolling and smoking. It was a blast and the first time we smoked without buying a drink.
To the point:
We noticed the other room had vapes and kinda smelled others mixing tabacco in with weed near us so we were like well wtf we are not smokers of tabcco we should not be here. (sorry for misspelling I don't have time to correct right now and made this accoutn jsut for this story..anyway) We go over and ask the super curly and ectra long hair guy we bought the blue cheese from if they have a a volcano and how to use it. Well I had bought hash and weed and some kind of mint tea thing and my buddy had something so he was like just go use it. I'm way too high by now.
So I bust out my sack of chocolope from gray area (super bomb. go try it!) and filled that thing up right. We are like so what the red button stops and the green starts or what. My buddy got it going and we had a nice bag that was stopped early. Well he is like how long can you fill it up?! And I (being young and cocky and having used a volcano like once before with someone else doing it) say "DUDE you can KEEP FILLING IT UP and it just keeps going and getting thicker!""I've totally done it" or something like that. And he is like no, no way. So we try it right in the coffe shop, on the second story with it full of people. They were playing a Gorillaz album and I was lovin it so I was just groovin.. Anyway. It gets big and bigger and hes like dude are you sure? Im like f yeah dude we are filling it up.
This bag EXPLODED and our worlds were altered! The whole room slowed down and I look over at the long hair curly dude and he had this look of dissappointment. Like dman dude. damn.. And everyone stopped talking and was staring. This guy comes out yelling at me and I am like take my change or whatever dude I am sorry. He is all freaking out. I'm like oh shit dude I better dirnk this weird tea with mint leaf in it and get out of here. haha. The guy eventually brings out another bag but we jsut leave everything and the money I had left. It was a very memebral experience and yeah, I learned the hard way. So, enjoy!
