Can you go from nut lockout to nut burn?

I was giving my plants a mild veg blend of nutrients but was having problems with too low of a ph. Once I got the ph right I experienced nutrient burn. Could my plants have had a nutrient lockout and once I got the ph right they get all the left over nutrients that couldn't be absorbed causing nutrient burn?

Usually is too much nutes that causes ph imbalance and nute burn. Usually in that order.

I was using water with a ph of 5.10 (I didn't know at the time, just got the ph meter) and giving mild veg nuts. I noticed purple stems on fan leaves plus leaves were dark green. A couple new leaves started twisting. Once I got the meter I brought the ph up to 6.50 using same water with nuts. The next day I noticed a couple droopy plants, a couple with leaves curling down, a couple with nut burned tips, and a couple leaves had teal borders. Should I just flush everything?

Well just tell us about your grow.. we cant figure it out if you cant give us exact details.

Well they are about five weeks from seeds. They have been topped a couple times and are maybe 18 inch tall. I used fox farm and perlite. They are in one gallon pots, need to transplant into bigger smart pots once they recover.

if your ph is too low, or too high for that matter, it makes some nutrients unavailable to the plant (nutrient lockout) the second you make the ph within the proper range, it bombards the plant with all those nutrients that were previously unavailable due to the ph (nutrient burn) guess you could call it a vicious cycle, but easily avoided with due diligence at keeping your basic metrics (temp/ph/ppm/rh) in check. if you don't have those easily controllable things in check, then on top of that get a pest or two, it could be disastrous for a crop. knowledge of the basics will save your ass, and many times keep those things from happening.

I hate when my " NUT " locks up .... Hate it.

I flushed them and it did wonders. Purple stems on fan leaves are almost gone and it's been only two days. I lucked out with this strain. It recovers so quick.
