Can you go from cloner to hydroton without using rock wool?

Last time i tried to put rooted clones from a cloner into rock wool, it didn't work out to well. Can i just go from the cloner right into hydroton for ebb n' flow without the rock wool?

sure you can i did it last year, i used RAPID ROOTER GROW PLUGS and rockwool the ones that were in the plugs were ready to transplant into my hydro sytem about 5 days faster. they are cheap , work great and dont raise your ph like rockwool can here is a link to those plugs Rapid Rooter Grow Plugs - 50 Bag

What LoudBlunts and jeremyc8 said!! Rapid Rooters are the shit man! But yes, you can take rootings right from cloner to hydroton.

But what happens to all the roots hanging through the small net pots (if you're using those)? I always wonder this when I see people starting clones in those small systems and then moving to a large one.
