Can you CLEAN A Plant?!?!

Hey all, I currently have a setup going in a crawl space.
I had to dig down about 4 feet to make room for my tent which is 7 feet tall.

The intakes on the tent are about 1 ft off the ground, with about 6 inches from the intake to the dirt wall which is surrounding the tent. I've set up 2 6" inline duct booster fans in each of the intakes, and put filtering on one side of each one to try and keep dust/dirt out, however I still notice that my fan leaves seem to collect a little bit of dirt.

I was wondering if this would be harmful to my plants during flowering? Just started 12/12 2 days ago. And if so, what methods are there to clean a plant?

Thanks in advance, RIU! :blsmoke:

I had a buddy who used a lite neem solution he would spray into a rag and wipe his fan leaves off when in full flower.. to avoid sprray on the bud but wipe the leaves clean as his got dirty too.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. I guess I'll wipe the leafs down and then hopefully the clean leafs will catch all the dust/dirty instead of the nuggets.
Any other suggestions?! Thanks again!

Use NPK Industries Line of Products... Like MIGHTY WASH and the OTHER WASHES. Better than NEEM by far. Its 2011, get the NPK stuff.

Theres no problem I forsee for veg, as long as you dont mind the mess. BUT flower is another story. Your gonna have dirt sticking to the trichomes on the plant. You won't be able to just brush it off the buds. Go to homedepot or something similar and buy a Filter for home ac/ heater. FIND one that filters down to the smallest micron you can afford. I grow in a garage in a tent WITH dog hair dust dander blah........ I have filters on all my intake tapped on or what not. I have NO problem with hair or dust or dander. I think the filter will do it but you will have to find one that filters the air enough. Pics would be nice as we might be able to help you think of something to make for YOUR space. Happy Growing :weed:

Damn that's fuckin nuts. Never seen someone dig out there crawll space for a grow.

I would suggest u take those turns out of the ducting that's running between fan and duct. For every foot and turn of ductting you lose a bunch of cfm (forgot exact formula) so having the ducting straight will make ur fan much more efficient. Best way would be to suspend the ducting from ceiling or floww I guess haha.

No buddy. its the newest shyt. Im just trying to help people. Here in cali. Mighty Wash and never look back.. wayyyyyy better than neem. no crap smell you dont need to DILUTE it and you can literally spray as much as you want on the plant.. till its soaked.
Sounds like someone is employed by NPK...

I think prevention would help. I mean every time you walk down there you are kicking up dust. Maybe get an old carpet/drop cloth and cover where you walk or stir up dust. maybe put a piece of plywood against the dirt wall where the intake is. That and filter it real good would be my suggestion, I mean washing every leaf is a pain in the ass.

Yeah, I've read about the ducting and 90 degree corners and what not.
My 6" Vortex powerfan already made my tent collapse in on itself from such high negative pressure though, so I don't think the 90 degree corners are effecting it tooooooo much.
Had to go in and build a new support structure out of 2x4's

This is very true too. After this grow I'm gonna take a shop vac in there and get most of the loose stuff out, then cover everything that is exposed w/ tarps.
