I think Medical Grade is right this needs to go national.
Over on the Medical Forum: Michigan we are discussing having a 'Walk the Halls' of your home state capitol and visit your senators and congressman when they return from break. We can tell them how we support HR 2306 (takes mj from schedule 3 to schedule 1 drug) and your own state mmj issues.
Yes, HR 2306 is a national issue, so it is your US Rep and Senator that needs to know about it, but believe me they will be aware of our numbers and what we have to say.
We are allowed to walk the halls and talk to representatives. If done in enough numbers they might get the picture; instead of us being invisible voters, they will see us as a very visible voter base who care enough to drive to their state capitols.
Does anybody here have any contacts with Norml national? I believe if we move on this and pass HR 2306 we will be well on our way to legalization.
Please, please don't tell me it's a pipe dream. Please, tell me that you would place fliers and talk it up so we can do make these grass roots thoughts into a grass roots movement and make it happen in numbers to big to be ignored.
And it might all just start with someone with a contact with Norml and the follow thru by those that really care.
Now's the time to walk the walk.
