at this time michigan does have anxiety or depression listed. in fact many patients don't realize that marijuana can make anxiety and panic attacks worse. to tell the truth i used to get panic attacks after smoking until i went on an SSRI and they gave me a script of alprazolam to use until the SSRI started working. some other states do allow weed for depression. but imo people should not get it for anxiety. SSRIs actually work excellent for long term treatment of anxiety. the only thing is they can take about a month to take effect. dont believe all the media bullshit about how ssris are bad. the people that are or were suicidal are normally like that to begin with, not from going on the meds. SSRIs on a normal dose are actually extremely safe to even take for the rest of your life. im not trying to push pills on anyone but simply stating facts.
