can two different strains be grow in the same hydro system

ideally no because each strain has specific needs. imagine if you lived on what I eat all week, I may love it but you may not like pizza and beer every day, catch my drift? if you keep the ppm low enough it may work but ideally its not a good idea.

yes, they will all grow, but youll only be able to set optimum nute levels for one strain. overfeeding some or underfeeding others. your call....

I currently - and have for the last 8 years - grown multiple strains feeding off the same res. I am currently growing ATF, Pineapple xpress, Aff-goo, Super Lemon haze, Pot of Gold and Shiskaberry - all feeding of the same res - running between 750 and 1200 PPM, depending on growth stage. The individual plants assimilate nutrients based on their needs - all I do is give them the choice. I agree that you can tweek 1 strain for optimum out come, but the variety more than makes up for the slight decrease in overall production :)

Yes, very old post but I like it, I do the same with autos, 6 different strains, i start with low ppms, slowly increasing dosage & watching for nute burn...600watt hps and 2 1000watt led panels to supplement
