if you dont mind a semi ugly fix and just want it usable again, just use some super glue or some other strong adhesive, i had a stone bowl that broke right in the middle, hit it with some proxy glue or something of that sort and it works great again lol

The UV part of the glue is what bonds it, and it'll be cleaner and more tight than super glue ever could dream of being on glass...........

do what all the baller$ do and just stick it together and electro-plate it.

then sell it for twice what you paid. $ $

Thanks for the offer but I already tried to rush and fix it, making things 100% worse. I decided to scrap and am picking up a new piece today

Just got back from picking up my new piece. The ash catcher is a left over from my broken one. She hits like a champ, I already like her better than the old one.

What did you do with the busted one? I've been wanting to try out some of that uv glass glue on one of my wife's fine glasses, but wanted to practice a couple times first.

No real practice with the UV Glue is needed, just lightly coat it with a Q-Tip, stick it together, hold it under a UV light (black light) for about 10-15 minutes........ Voila! I've used the UV Glue numerous times over the last two years with no errors or problems.......

Is it completely invisible? Runny? Easy to work with? I wanna fix a champagne glass at the stem.

The UV Glue isnt 100% invisible. It'll be obvious that it was broken/cracked/repaired. It will, however, stand up tall and be drinkable. The uv glue I have from abrimagery.com isnt runny but it isnt thick either. A q-tip will help a ton and even if you DO spill the glue all over everything, it's OK -- its not glue until it's been under the black light. It'll wipe away with a paper towel.
