I know this one looks a bit dodgy with the driver hanging down like that but I needed to take the lights lower than usual and it was faster and easier to just stretch the tape than go find the wire to lengthen the pieces between the driver and the boards. Having it loose actually made it way easier to adjust wattage (I have to poke a little screwdriver in the hole the black bung's in).

The thing hanging from the bar, which is called a driver and is what converts your wall power to DC in a way that suits these particular LED's wired in this configuration..

Obviously I don't expect you to know how to put it together, so I and others here would be able to help guide you through that, and of course if all this stuff looks way too complicated for a first grow, by all means go for the kit.. Just offering something I wish was offered to me.
