Have you used a magnifying glass or scope to check out your leaves up-close for tiny bugs?

Yes. I think it's some kind of worm that hides in the soil and come out during the night cycle. I'm just worried that it may borrow into the stems. I am 4 weeks into flower today so I'm going to have to let it ride and try to catch it by hand.

Scraps of food??
I assume your either a dirty person/keep a dirty house
Or where you live this time of year its spring or fairly warm and been raining the past few days..

So either their home is drenched and/or yours is more preferable....
they surface mainly for water but food as well
If your place is tidy...there will be no roaches

My grow is in the shed. I keep it vacuumed mainly for spider mites. They may like the organic nutes I use from General Organics. It makes it smell like a pet shop in there. The temps are controlled also. They prob like the warmth. I'll try spraying the outside of the shed to ward them off.

The only place in Canada that suffers cockeroaches that I know of is Toronto Canada(GTA). But then I've never been outta Canada:)

If your not flowering yet you can spray the leaves with a red pepper spray. Mix 1 tbsp. of red or chayenne pepper in a gal of water and let sit overnight. Then strain and spray on your leaves. I do this for my veggie garden and it works great.(organic) Just reapply after heavy rain.

ha ha,,,, (made me laugh, not sacastically but "memory lane" thing)
but yeah, not always true; I'm a neat freak and when I lived in AZ & FL you simply got the occasional giant/oriental roach in the house....
cat or gecko would eventually nail em, but thats just how it is...

now those lil nasty german roaches, well , yeah; keep your place clean and they sorta just pass by (except in college dorms/apt; you are gonna just have them cuz your student neighbors are just nasty MF'rs

I'm thinking dude lives somewhere warm...proly

Obviously most of the responders to this thread do not know much about roaches. Where I live roaches reach size of a hummingbird and some species have wings, they fly. They are disgusting, I am lucky having bunch of chickens roaming around the property, it helps to keep my home roach free.

YES roaches will eat leaves if there is nothing around they like better. I found out they will eat paper and cardboard.

Basically they'll eat any organic matter they can take a bite of.

could be pill bugs, caterpillars, leaf rollers, earwigs (yes, they munch leaves...) black beetles, or any of a number of critters.

cayenne pepper spray will bust em, but dont get it on your buds.

some sevin on your soil will fix their wagons too.

it's totally safe, your plant will not take it up, just keep it off the buds.

ig you really wanna id the pest for targeted action, lightly moisten a newspaper and roll it up loosely then leave it on the ground near your nibbled plants. when the sun comes up open that fucker and see what you caught. if you aint got nothin, its caterpillars/leaf rollers.

Yes roaches can and will eat leaves and new buds, they don't seem to eat on the plants until flowering starts.
