Can ozone damage plants?

Ive been thinking about adding an ozone generator to my grow cabinet but was wondering if it could damage my plants. This would be in addition to the carbon filters on the fan but i was thinking it would reduce the work load on the carbon filters.

yes if it is too close it will dmg plants and looks like a cal/mg deficiency. If you have carbon no need for ozone....also ozone is poisonous to humans in high concentrations. I have an ozone gen and it works great but I have a mixer box at the end of my exhaust and all of the ozone is generated and mixes with the exhaust before it vents to outside.

dude i got a filter n i also got a filter on the way out one scrubs in room n one out because my nabors are right next door i could practicly hear them at night threw my walls lolz so i gro ogees n whell it FUCKING SMELLS SO FUCKING BAD>>>>> if aint cool so it challenges the fillters i got the ozone yes it does burn the leave in the room i use call mag n wasnt shure what the fuck my roots r great my bud stucher is phonominal but the leave r brown crowning on water leaves its close but not like that so it does kill smell i was like dam that shit realy fucken work but my rooms not big n my baby filter arent either but the fucken o.g. aint no joke!!!!!!! but i tell u what mabe like he sead above me a mixing box that sound good cuz i run it 15 min every hour how does he do it in the mixing box.....

So basically shouldent use one unless its in the exhaust...and I shouldent do that unless it exhausts to somewhere well ventalated?

Yeah man need a little bit of grammer and some common use of the king's English. Anywho I think you were asking how to make a mix box .... well just get a large card board box (think like stove or refrigerator size), pipe your smelly air into the box and place your ozone generator in the box with the smelly air. Then punch a bunch of small holes at the far end of the mixing box. What this does is it allows the ozone to become concentrated and mix with the smelly air before being vented.

Or use it in short bursts to knock back smells. I use ozone but not steadily/regularly ... i exhaust it into the house until all those nasty odors (Kush, tush, didn't'cha flush, kimchee, kitty, crusty skivvies) are springtime fresh.

Ozone shouldn't smell at all. Ive had way worse damage from ozone looked like i painted half a plant yellow.

Its good for keeping mold down and ive used it in my living space i have an ionic pro and put a fan behind it in case of emergency or to freshen up the air.

I thought ozone smelled somewhat like after it rains. Also how much ozone would be sufficient for a mixing box? Is 5000 mg/h enough? too much?
