You will find that by in large Conspiracy theorists/Militia are also constitutionalists.
Why would our government,
who swears an oath to uphold the Constitution,
be worried about an uprising from constitutionalist?

Well the president signed the executive order allowing the United States Department of Homeland Security to build large numbers of "Detainment Facilities" to be used is the event of a 'catastrophic' uprising against the Federal government. Now that's an emergency isn't it. :-) Sounds like a job for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. :-)

I don't go that far but I'm a hundred percent sure regardless of what the Declaration of Independence says they will not allow the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
 
Sorry. The People can alter or abolish it. It's called a "Constitutional Convention'. Or, Martial Law. (national).

Everyone is behind it including us in my opinion...this is a very large(massive if you will)scale project with many different angles, aspects, & influences which was set in motion long ago & at this point can no longer be stopped. It can be altered in my opinion though. To answer your question of why would be nearly impossible for there is no one simple answer, but if I must come with something then I would suggest that perhaps the main driving influence is...our social & monetary policies are no longer effective or efficient.

I'm not sure how (I assume it was some pithy comment I made when this thread started), but somehow I'm now subscribed to it, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't look forward to reading what new lunatic fringe theories are being concocted/reported as I eat my daily bowl of cereal.

Please don't take that as an insult, it's not meant to be one - it's just that I really don't meet people like you guys in real life (again, no offense), so the Internet is the only place where I get to hear these 9/11 conspiracy and Zeitgeist and all the other crazy shit that some people talk about (I don't believe a lick of it, but I enjoy hearing the theories).

Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks to all of you for starting my day off right, and keep on keeping on.

I know exactly what globalization is. It has been underway for several hundred years and we are entering a new phase. We should do all we can to expedite it since that is the road to the elimination of both war and poverty.
