Can my San Pedro Cacti still live?

Wassup Y'all,

I grew a San Pedro Cacti last year and cut it down to make extract. This winter was really rainy so it got quite a bit of rain before I put it up in the garage. Anyways it's not looking too hot and i'm wondering if it will still live. My girlfriend suggested I dig them up and let them dry up? I think that's what you're supposed to do, then replant it. Anyways some help would be greatly appreciated. I'll post up a photo below.

I'm not seeing any signs of life there. I think they are done. It wouldn't hurt to dig them up and look at the roots to see if they look like they have any life left.

not sure about that type cacti but I dug some cactus up out my yard this year and its roots were covered in spikes, be careful when you dig this thing up.
