Hi there, can or does any one know what im doing wrong? Ok, I germinated in a jiffy and it sprouted fine for the two cotleydons, after 2 days of having the cotleydons I planted directly in my medium which is ffof. I kept it dark and eventually it got its first two true leaves. She was standing straight up and strong for two days..I started with the lights and she did fine for one day. As of today she is completely drooped and just bent over leaves are touching the soil. What can possibly be wrong? Also get this, I ORIGINALLY planted another seed directly into the ffof before, it did sprout after about 4 or 5 days, I kept the lights off the ENTIRE time, she got the cotleydons but then drooped just like this plant. She drooped before she even got the first 2 true leaves and I never used lights. Soil was kept moist but nothing obsurd. Could it be that ffof is just to strong to begin with?? Thanks in advance for any help.

What you need to do is place that jiffy pot with your plant about halfway into a larger pot and bury the stem about halfway up the seedling.... This will give support to the main stem. If you don't then it will fall over and die... It's top heavy because it's stretching for light.

If it's outside, take it inside after you pot it and put it under a 23watt cfl light. It should get better after that

Its indoors growing about 6 inches away from a cfl light. Im gonna bury it a bit more now then. Also im giving plain phed water which was like 6.3 today. Do you think the soil is overkill with the nutrients already? I heard that ocean forest had some issues before.

The problem is they are stretching and have no support. They should be under light, and with what you are using for a light it needs to be close. You can use a bamboo skewer to support it. I used to have this problem. As soon as they sprout get them under light.
