im wondering if i can use the same water i water my plants with, for the water i fill my "clone machine" with? my clone cuttings havent rooted yet, so its just the cuttings, so will it hurt it, to use water with plant food in it?? or help it?

by "clone machine" i mean a light proof container with lid. and an air tube with bubble spreader inserted into container. and 2 clones im trying to root. they are under a 26watt bulb.

any advice is very helpful thanks ;)

when you have clones you want to have a very low PPM ( parts per million ) like around 500 or lower. its not great to give ur plants any nutes till a week or two of flowering...and keep the PH around 5.0 to 5.5. for the first week of the clones life in flowering
anyways man i hope this helps..

You have to take some of these things with a certain smokey-haze kinda feeling. :blsmoke:

In hydro, I use a very dilute nutrient on my plants from day of cutting, both misting and wetting the medium. Of course, I feed during veg growth, increasing into peak of flowering.

So your cloning tub water is just to keep the air in there wet, so it doesn't matter if it has nutes, and it won't hurt either.
