Can I use a standard e cig cartomizer with BHO?

OR does it need to be a special brand of cartomizer?

If i'm correct what I do is pull the polly fill out, and drizzle the bho into the tube, but careful not to get it inside of the inner tube

is this correct? Will any cartomizer work?

A number of special oil carts out there now, but you can inject decarboxylated oil into the polyfil of a 510 cart or pull out the polyfill and drip in carboxylic acid.

We just tested three new pen vaporizers with special oil cups, that you just drop a dab in and get one or three hits off of it. I'll be posting those results later, but in summary I like the small oil cups better, because they don't evaporate off the lighter components and leave behind the heavy phenolic tasting ones for subsequent hits, as does the 510 carts, which hold substantially more.

I use the standard fluid mouthpiece for hookah fulid for ISO.($6 at local head shop)

It can be mixed with flavor to make it thinner but it burns fine for me after a few button holds to heat it up.

So should be no issue with BHO as long as it makes contact with the heaters.

I hope I am not hijacking your thread biochem, but I had a similar question. My wife can't tolerate smoking the herb, and we are wanting to try vaporizing oil (Etoh extraction oil). We actually own an ego battery, and I was wondering if this would work as an decent tank for vaping the oil directly without having to use glycerine etc...

Yeah, we just tested one of those and they work slick.

I managed to break the glass globe and am awaiting a replacement, but will write it up after I get the replacement.

In summary, we had our last BHO class students test it and two others that were donated for that purpose, and everyone who tested it, liked it, especially seeing the instant feedback through the globe. It makes a nice oil cart.

One concern, was that it isn't as covert as other e-cigs, that don't have the globe.

Do you just directly place the concentrate on the coil of the glass globe? Or do you fill the actual globe with oil?

You just roll up a dab and drop it on the coil. The glass globe stays empty, until you start to draw, and then fills up with observable vapor.

Ok, putting that on order. It sounds like what I am looking for. Thanks for the help~

Oh I see, I have something similiar to that but isn't glass. It looks more like a wierd nail kinda.. I like the glass globe look though, but if it is the same principal as mine it might not be such a upgrade for me. Except that it is glass lol. Here are pic's of mine.

It works pretty well. I just take my shatter and roll it up and drop it and take a good hit. I woul say you get 1 really good hit and perhaps another decent hit. I got it for $10 but it usually goes for $15. It does the job pretty well.

Thanks again for the advice. It came in the mail today and it works spectacular. Cool globe, sorta mystical watching it fill up with vapor. My wife pushed the vap button for like 4 seconds took a hit. Very little odor. In fact, opening up the oil jar had a stronger odor. It is clear she is a light weight, she is pretty well stoned atm. Since she just likes to take the edge off, she will certainly tone it down next time lol.

How big of a "dab" would you say you put into the globe? And how many hits did you get from it? It looks very interesting I must say. Is there still a wick in this attachment?

I would say, a 2 BB sized dab. I took a lobster meat pick and rolled a dab up around the tip. Used a lighter to melt it off into the bowl. It dripped off cleanly into the ceramic bowl. There is a transverse wick about 1cm across the top only; not like the clearomizers that extend down into the tank. I heated up the e cig to melt the oil into the wick. She took a single hit. I played with it for a few more times...watching the tank fill with vapor. So, out of that small dab..maybe 4 or 5 hits...

Not sure I am making any sense...

the g-pen mini works great for BHO

Made perfect sense. I was looking online at other globe tanks and came across this one.

I like it because the actual heating element has a screen so not direct contact. The globe itself seems to be plastic though not glass. Which isn't a bad thing if it is on the go.

I use a G-Pen clone (original g-pen) and it does work pretty well.
