Can I take a cutting 5 days after switching to 12/12

Hi-

I know that a clone taken in flower will take much longer to root and that there is sometimes a decreased chance of success. I had a failed cloning experiment that I regret, and would like to take a 2-3 more clones from this plant. It's been in 12/12 for 5 days and a few white hairs are starting to show. Can someone tell me what to expect from these cuttings if I go ahead? I am not sure if the plant is considered 'in flower' during the stretch and before buds appear, or if it would take the same amount of time to 'return to veg' as a plant that is really putting on buds.

yes you can. you can take them longer into flower, it just gets harder to clone.
i have taken clones at 21 days because I had no choice.

the clones will take longer to start vegging once they root. so if growth seems slow, just be patient.

good luck

This is a mother that I cut approx 5 days before harvest.
It takes quite a bit more time to root & revert to veg, but it is not that difficult.

Great to know - I'm setting up the work area now and I think I might have some questions about which would be the best to take - I'll post pics in an hour or so. Thanks guys.
