Can i start a seedling in this? coco fibre

So im building a dwc system and was wondering if i could start a seed in these blocks? If so, once the root would i be able to put it directly into my hydroton without removing the coco fibre? please help a noob out!

Start in the jiffy pellets. If you are ordering online goto a hydroponics dealer and get rapidrooters or rock wool. Why would you order from walmart?

Mix a 50/50 coco coir with perlite in a 5gal bucket and you're good also. But you'll have to eliminate the dwc. But if you want to go with the dwc path, you can start with the coco. Just remember those block expands a lot. And if you're only seedling, you will only need very little of the coco. But if you haven't order anything yet, you should just go with rapid rooters or rockwool cubes. Hope this helps.
