Can i run a mini split AC unit in the winter?

hello everyone, Just finishing up my new sealed room Noticed that my split ac says it can only be run in temps above -5 C. winters here are around -15 to -20 C.

is it safe to operate it at those temps?
what can i do to make it work?
can i box it in with insulation?
