ive done all my research on topping and im just about to do it today, i have 4 church seedlings at bout 5-6 nodes high.

the point at which i am pinching it still has 2 true nodes above it and 1 set of nodes that r just starting.

my question is can i root this part of the plant once i have topped it?

i am growin in soil so would it take by just putting it in the soil? i have rooting compound, never cloned b4 neither so interesred in learnin.

thanks in advance

yes every part of the plant can be rooted
you could take the cut and place it in a cup of water with the rooting compound when you see roots then plant in soil remimber to change water when it looks dirty, treat it like a flowers in a vase untill it roots
this i have done and this is how i did it

Yes, I broke the top stem of one of my big land races this summer accidentally. I simply jammed it into a new pot of soil and watered with a rooting hormone slurry. Delivered one of the best colas of the entire summer.
