Can I put a CFL in one of these?

Its an agrosun dayspot. Uses a 60 watt incandescent bulb. I assume it would also be compatible with a CFL bulb but dont wanna buy it if it wouldnt work considering the lumen output of a 60w incandescent bulb wouldnt be worth the money. If it would in fact work, what wattage CFL bulb is equal to 60w incandescent? I only plan on using it for seedlings and early veg growth for 1-2 plants. Any help is appreciated.

That will work fine mate, it seems like an expensive way of lighting CFLs though. You can buy the cable/ bulb socket from an electrical shop and fix em together.
Its that simple that even I managed it stoned as a crow on my first grow ever and it worked, and it cost me approx £5 per lead, which I thought was a good saving.
Hope it helps mate.
Let us know how you get on.

lol yea i have that same fixture dude, bought it off of amazon i think..... but yea it works... i bought Y socket adapters that make 1 socket into 2 light sockets... but unfortunately.. it dosent work with it... but 60w is what it takes to power the incandescent.... CFLs use less energy.. so u can get any CFL up too 60w usage... personally i fit a 42w CFL
