Can I mix Organic and Chem Fertilizer together?

I want to know if I can mix Organnic and Chemical fertilizer together. Will this just denature the properties of the organic one because of the harsh chemicals?
What I want to do is Mix a chemical Grow fertilizer with an organic CalMag supplement. Will this work okay?
Please let me know your thoughts!

yes! I know someone around here had grown the same cut with organic, chem, and a combination of both. The combination was considerably more frosty.
