So my problem is I don't have any room to keep my mother plant in my closet, so what i wanted to do was place it next to my window but i dont know if it will live during this weather. I'm in canada and its snowing right now. Any advice? Thanks.

It will live, just probably stunt it growth or something. I would not continue to use it for clones since it will be stressed. Why not designate a clone to veg out and become the new mother?

if you're gonna want a stable mother plant, putting it by the window isn't gonna help. Also, if you put her by the window you have to put lights on her or she'll flower automatically cuz you... do have.. night.. in canada... . . . . right?

If you really can't afford the space she takes up as a mother then you could always flower her in ur closet, esp if she's really big by now :eyesmoke:

ya i only like have room for a 2 foot plant. Can i keep my mother in there? Would it still be healthy if i kept cutting the top to keep it short?

and yes i do have night in canada but i was thinking they dont flower during this time of year? or am i wrong about that. but ya thanks for the advice.

Bro, you can hack down the foliage and leaves only a few nodes at the bottom to grow back, take it out of the pot, trim off the sides of the rootball, and replant with fresh soil.

You'd be better off using a clone though; that way everything stays nice and fresh. ;-)

You gotta have a lot more room than two feet to flower a 2ft veg plant, like 4-6ft. If you can grow a plant in there you can keep your mother in there. Try not to cut your plants too much cuz it'll stress them out, which could kill them. dun, dun, dunn.

A plant will flower if the amt of light it receives falls below 13hrs (I think anywhere between 13 and 18 per 24 period makes it just do weird slow stuff that's not great but i dunno).
