I am taking my first leap into DWC Hydtoponucs after years of soil. My question is can I take a rooted lemon tree hybred in soil and wash the dirt off and stick it in my DWC bucket. Any advice would be great. Thanks all

you can go from dirt to hydro but you can`t go from hydro to dirt. like bradburry said you need to clean the roots the best you can.

Also I would like to know if I can have to many bubbles. I am running a 15 liter per minute ActuveAqua pump (AAPA15L) and have all four connections and four air stones in one bucket.

you can never have too many bubbles......your water can only hold so much oxygen

thats something i didnt know......cant go from hydro to soil.:)
i haven`t tried that, but when i suggested it to my grow shop, that is what the owner told me. he has never steered me wrong yet. it has something to do with the way the roots have formed for the nute uptake.

If u try to go from soil to dirt, yes you must clean the roots completely, and then make sure to add buffers too, bennies most likely, to help the roots settle, and adjust to the nute uptake...

Be very gentle, but as quick as possible, with cool clean water, and as little light exposure as possible....

Pray to the garden gods, as we say, it is possible, doesn't mean its easy.

Dude there's so much bs posted on this community by people talking out their asses about things they don't know anything about. I've given up trying to correct it.

But just because i'm not part of the solution, doesn't mean YOU'RE not part of the problem.

let me take a guess you still don`t have the answer. and you called me a dumbass. i gave mine and an explanation of where i got it i stand by that. now as i said feel free to prove me wrong and i`ll gladly delete it. although i feel you`ll be hard pressed to do so. i don`t have a problem admitting i`m wrong. well wait let me put this in a fashion so that you can understand it...MAN UP OR SHUT THE FUCK UP!.....troll elsewhere!

You can deffinately go from hydro to soil. I've done it before. You just have to make sure the roots get buried evenly instead of just clumping them up and suffocating them with dirt.
